An Appeal to the JCS and Government

Dear JCS leaders, and the eUS Government,
Today I stand before you, not as a Soldier in the US Special Forces, but as a Citizen of the eUnited States. I have been reading for a long time on how the JCS and the Government do not get along, I have witnessed this first hand on a few occasions. Quite frankly as a citizen in a country divided, I grow weary of these squables. I know and understand that I am not a congressman, not the President, but I will do what ever I can to bridge the gap between JCS and Government. When I joined this game in July of 2010 I did not expect to stay in the game very long, much less come back after I left. Now that I have a firm grasp over how this game works and how the community reacts to every little thing the Admin changes, I believe it is time for the Country to re-unite under the flag that has kept us together through so much invasion, war, controversy, and trivial fight.
I have a dream in this world we call eRepublik.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true
meaning of Unity.
I have a dream that one day in the lands of the eUS we will have a solid and unified Army, not a divided one.
I have a dream that one day in the halls of the Whitehouse, the strong soldiers of both the JCS armies and the USAF armies will take arms together and form a more strenghtened fighting force that everyone will proudly fight for.
I have a dream that one day my beloved country will once again be unified under the flag we cherish so much, that the men and women in the country will not be discriminated based on their military unit whether JCS or USAF, but be based on their actions on IRC and in-game.
I have a dream TODAY that the JCS forces and the Government will one day be a UNIFIED fighting force and set aside the petty differences and seek friendly relations with each other.
I will continue to be the bridge between the JCS and the Government. I will continue to be a mediator for the two, Resolving any indifference that may occur. For this is my goal... my dream for this glorious country.

I wish to also assist in this endeavor. It's not a job one person can do alone. I think it would be great if all my friends could at least talk to each other even if they don't see eye-to-eye on things.

Waiting for the appeal to the USAF article
Good article indeed.
But You should write first article to politicians, then afterward to USMilitary.
USA community see USMilitary as "disobeyed", "outlaws", "military oligarchy" and so on.
For making problem, You can't accuse only one side. Life teach us that for mutual fighting You always have both sides as guilty for that...
It is only about percentages who is how much guilty.
In this case we read all the times only appeals and pressures on our side...
What is natural, because we do not wrote so much articles, because majority of us are common soldiers and majority of us hate politics. We simply enjoy in military module, have fun in conversation and so on.
So, common citizen have impression reading media that USMilitary is only factor who cause problem and splitting of USA community in two parts.

@HA: Did you read only the headline? The article talks about both the government and the JCS. BOTH parties need to work together to get this done, and you're seeing government members being willing to do so in this article, and so far the only JCS comment is "the government needs to do something first." We're here, what about you?

I had no issue with the headline, considering GK is from the government...
Quit treating us as some rouge nothings that arent part of the US military then maybe we could get along.
Rather annoying to fight for my country everyday then be considered as a piece of dirt cause im JCS.
I agree completely playa. This won't happen until the leaders of both groups can work together though. The most we can do as soldiers is to be kind to our brothers and sisters in arms that play in different military units, as they fight for the US too and encourage our friends to do the same.

I'm sorry, but I've seen around 8 articles generically asking for unity. What are your actual goals and how do you plan on doing it?
It seems like all these problems get brought up when we lose one mini battle in a battle that we end up winning anyway, so a lot of complaints about nothing.
I know people complain about the disunity, but why not let people play the game with people they enjoy. If you want to help stop the animosity on both sides. There is no reason to combine the military groups. We've done fine with multiple military units in the past, why is it any different now?

It is writings like these that create the illusion of a lack of unity. Both these groups work together for a common goal. They are not enemies. Just because a few people from each group dislike the others, doesn't mean it is to concensus.
In the real military the different branches make jokes about each other all the time, yet they are still friendly and fight for the same cause.
Stop the drama.

@Kristof I am not here to cause drama, I am here to point out facts and that there are people out there who are out to make this game more enjoyable.
This is not a drama Kristof. This article is perfect and it might as well make the leaders think. Soldiers of both JCS&gov are friends and they work together and of course they want unity, but the leaders are crushing their dreams.

Respectable goals. I wish you luck, as I believe it might take some time. Also, playa, I understand what your point is, but technically, you're NOT part of the US military. You're part of a large and still relevant militia...and that's totally not a negative thing at all. I love our bros in ST6/EZC/BC/SFPBC. I think maybe you guys place too much importance on that definition. Are you a part of the country's military defense? Yes, definitely. That I agree with.
