All these things that I've done...
Kylero
When I ran for CP this past month, I put forth a number of priorities that I would focus on as CP. In my concession speech, I stated that I would find other ways to carry out these priorities. These past few weeks, I have been working hard as a Congress Member to tackle some of the issues that my supporters and I deemed important.
Here they are, and here's what I've done so far:
1. Reducing our national income deficit.
Lead the reform of Citizen Packs so we weren't spending too much to supply older players who should be able to supply themselves.
Proposed changes to the BNA budget to reduce spending today so we don't have to make drastic cuts in the future. There's no good reason to spend +500% of our monthly income on the BNA. Unfortunately, other CMs and our CP fail to see a problem with the unsustainable BNA budget, and wish to continue the bleeding of our reserves.
2. Add more elements to the military experience.
Proposed the Patriot Fund to allow soldiers to donate a portion of their TP and other medals for faster promotion and/or ribbons/awards.
3. Promote our local economy.
Still to come...
4. Party relations.
Have tried hard to mediate between parties, and keep petty party politics out of national debates.
5. Increase our national security practices.
Proposed the eBelgian Intelligence Agency to gather intel on multis and PTOs.
Proposed amendments to the Immigration Law to prevent possible election day PTOs by prohibiting citizenship approval on election days.
Proposed guidelines for Immigration Officers that included taking into account previous Multiple Account (multi) usage when determining if a citizenship request should be approved.
6. Reform or eliminate laws that work against the people of eBelgium.
Proposed the elimination of Citizenship Removal from the eBelgian Constitution to protect eBelgians from witch-hunts.
So as you can see, your vote for CM or CP has not been a waste. I've been trying, but it seems some wish to maintain the status quo, or use their time to propose and approve silly laws that serve no purpose (see Eternal Congressman...).
On your side as always,
Kylero

Mhmm, I wonder why you've ran for CP about 10 times, and not won yet.
Ask Shadows, he should know the answer 😛.
@Lily, maybe it has something to do with people electing popular, yet MORONIC CPs instead. And if you knew more about the game other than strapping on virtual kneepads, youd understand what blocking means.
and folks, this is a perfect example of someone who has a record of work (me) being attacked by someone who doesnt (Lily). Lily, lets see your priorities and how youve addressed them.
lily got burned lol...
Kylero, you have my full support.
Kylero, it was an honest question which you've failed to answer. Why have you ran for CP several times and not succeeded? Maybe it's because you're better at attacking those in power than actually being competent enough to be the CP.
Are the implying the voters are idiots? Or maybe, you're the idiot. Wouldn't surprise me through this inept article.
he has more votes each time, why not ? Good luck kylero
Lily, sweetie, I am not implying voters are idiots. What Im saying is that you are more popular, yet you are a mediocre at best leader. Others have been popular but complete morons. Though the jury is still out on you. Sure i have ran a lot, but im also an old citizen ive ran to prevent incompetant people from being an impeachment away from being CP. ive ran for lolz as well. but a good measure is to look at my campaigning. you have to admit that you hardly even campaigned and it was a
popularity contest. and what im saying in this article is that my work never stops even though i wasnt elected. i feel that i have worked to bring important things to the forefront.
You can tell you're still bitter...Do move on Kylero!
and there it is...
Don't get me wrong, Kyl, you sometimes propose very efficient changes and there lies your true asset to the nation. But the game is more than a Law Book and economical matters, people come here to have fun.
The game is mainly based on strong characters of eBe (Jofroi, Nohjis, NLSP, ...) followed by less experienced players they guided in the game and have a good relation with. Those leaders like Lily, she's there in IRC to have fun, plays on forum games, just having fun.
She is very easy to access while the only image we can see of you is your activity in formal official topics, proposing laws that aren't always supported by other CM's, and being bitter against that lovely CP with whom we just had a lot of fun the evening of the day before in IRC. You really have to work on your image. I do not agree with your point of view of how to manage eBe, but it's still valid, while your image is not really helping you.
If I had enough time, I would write a whole article about Lily's failure. Despite she accused me into "making lies up", I will prove my words true yet again.
@Yannis - you just made my day with "Those leaders like Lily". Excuse me, but when did Lily prove her qualities as a leader? Lily is one of the worst CPs eBelgium had. Call me biased, etc, etc, but it is not only my opinion. It is me, who dares to say it though.
"Those leaders" are the leaders I mentionned before " strong characters of eBe (Jofroi, Nohjis, NLSP, ...) "
"like" is a verb. If you want a synonym: appreciate (had to change it in like for word count)
Ey, that changes things. Anyway, just because she is well-appreciated (not everyone is shadow in the end) by some, it does not mean she does a good job.
She isn't as experienced as some and hasn't got the same point of view as you do. Citizen packs are still running, MPP's sorted, a long term future is assured on our reserves thanks to the lowered loss/month, BoDi-awards given, polls organised, weekly report published, all cabinets are still active (she is doing the MoFA by herself) etc. I don't understand why you say she's one of the worst CP we had. Because she had some issues with you isn't a very legit argument.
Lily is not experienced enough to do well with the job. It would be a huge fail if the cit packs/BYS were not running - the cit programs were running all the time no matter who is CP. I do not know how it could be defined as a legit argument in her defence. She proposed wrong MPP twice in a row. Weekly reports are published with delay of 3 to 4 days, not all cabinets are active - The education side has published only once for 20 days, financial reports (detailed ones) are missing, what else..
Requiem, are you seriously lecturing me on how to be the CP? You're the guy who promised to give a referendum if we join CoT, and didn't give one. That's lying.
I'll rather make mistakes, then being a liar.
So look in the mirror before deciding to comment.
Indeed I am. As I said number of times, you are the CP this month. Deal with the critics or go cry somewhere else. Also, I had way better term than you have so far. Ask whoever you want. And we will see if you fulfill all of your promises in 10 days.
"Also, I had way better term than you have so far. "
Does that include being a liar and breaking one of your biggest promises to hold a referendum?
Taking a lecture from you on being a good CP, is the same as Stalin giving a lecture on democracy.
Look in the mirror before making petty remarks.
No, it includes reform in the army, budget changes, bringing back the weekly reports for first time since months, doing the fourth BoDI awards (first since month yet again), providing eBelgium with 15 MPPs and putting an end to the constant lack of battles, and the first CP, who had the guts to declare the end of neutrality. You did vote "Yes" on the Congress vote to join CoT, didn't you?
"the guts" through lying? You could of not made the promise in the first place. But you failed. You lied through your teeth and broke a fabric promise. That doesn't make you a good CP.
I voted yes because I believe joining an alliance was a good thing to do. You made the promise, not me. I wouldn't of broken a huge promise like you did.
I am said to have been a good CP. You can read all the comments of Fhae, Konrad, mitte, tommot, Nohjis, Maryam, Crit, Jof, shadow, SX80 and much more, who said it and cry me a river after that.
Having a short delay on reports is merely an inconvenient, MoE is mostly acting through PM's, MoF who is still SX80 had some IRL matters (as I heard) and nobody can blame him for that ( + debates on economy still running at full course, it is not like that sector was left unconsidered). To me, there are thousand ways to be worse as CP.
But what's the point of fighting? You both want the best for the country, right? Let us make as much constructive proposals and debate them for the sake of our country, to finally put the most appreciated ones in execution. What's the point of accusing and searching the weakest spots in each other terms? How do you help the country that way? Even more, it hurts the country, as the CP will follow his promises strictly, at the cost of the flexibility to adapt, so hugely needed at the post of CP.
The funny thing is, Requiem has ran off to another country.
Still want the best things for Belgium, Requiem?
I'm sure he does. Be the better man and end this argument, you are like two dogs fighting for a bone that doesn't even exist. Lily did what she did in her term and have her reasons, she's managing it and is open to ideas and constructive criticism. Requiem did his job as CP well and has his own personal reasons to leave eBe and we can't blame him for doing so, he's free. Ask yourself before posting: "What do I want to achieve with this post?"
