All Is Well in America

Day 1,722 of the New World
7 August 2012
As a high-ranking Cabinet member in the current Administration as well as an SCI member privy to detailed information during previous administrations, I felt the need to publish my thoughts on this, the second day of a new Presidential term in eUSA.
Every four years in the Real Life USA, a near-miracle of politics takes place - the peaceful transfer of power from one regime to another.
I say it is a "near-miracle" because in most nations, the transfer of power from one faction to another is rarely peaceful. There are some other nations that can boast of this privilege, but they are few and far between.
Sometimes art reflects reality.
Sometimes eRep reflects RL.
There has been a lot of noise lately... for instance some total stupid fraking moron tried to photoshop a "screencap" of Civil Anarchy making an illicit deal with our enemies. It was a mind-numbingly pathetic attempt at manipulation and surely cost Glove more votes than it earned him.
There has been other noise... Some have predicted that Glove was a PTO candidate who would sell out the eUS to our enemies.
And while that is the tip of the iceberg in terms of the vitriol and spew that has wallpapered the halls of government these past few days like some kind of zombie Jackson Pollak, it is enough to set the stage for what I am about to say...
Let the rest of the eWorld know that the eUSA is totally united in force against the vapors of ONE and against the forces (supposedly known as "the fellowship") that would align against us.
Power has transferred peacefully in eUSA yet again, and despite our differences we are lined up to kick your asses.
If anyone has any image of the previous administration cahck-blocking the new administration... if you think that the so-called "elites" plan to be uncooperative with the incoming "frosh", if you think for one second that anyone from USWP, AMP, INCI, FEDS, and RLC will let politics get in the way of eUSA Dominance (well OK, maybe there is one faction in RLC who is totally off the reservation...), think again.
I am here to announce that the level of cooperation between prior and current administrations has been absolutely excellent.
And while as Lincoln said, "a house divided against itself cannot stand", I say that a house that is as unified as eUSA is right now cannot fail.
Congratulations to Evry and his administration for completing their term in office with perfect honor and respect for eUSA.
And may our enemies quake in their boots...

not first, but good to hear the transition was smooth (with gov orgs and stuff) it's kind of terrifying to imagine that pile of treasury Gold could get held up, or "disapear" in a messy transition.
You are a PTOer who does not deserve to be SoD.
Enjoy losing your job in 3-4 days

RGR: LOL even Civil probably oppose the impeachment 😛
Impeach GLOVE!!
"because in most nations, the transfer of power from one faction to another is rarely peaceful"
please back up this statement with actual numbers, so "most" is better defined! The "Chad" affair, was that peaceful, because a lot of people think it was criminal...a new low, even for you.
"Sometimes art reflects reality" sometimes my farts smell so bad, I am proud of myself

I'll trust you on this one. But I'm still worried about a cabinet that includes CG.
chickensguys; is how the player created the account, the cabinet has no relevance to game mechanics, already, just look at said mentors claim to any position that suits him, it is nonsense and as soon as players start playing this game instead of letting others play them, this game will improve

Dude...
I can't stand CG.
The second it gets stupid I bail.
I don't necessarily think all is well in America, but I will absolutely give Glove a chance.
I am proud to a part of this thus far and have only seen positive feedback from my end. A little respect goes a long way.
This administration is pretty solid.
I don't care for CG either, as long as it stays status quo I don't have an issue.
Im finding it more and more amusing that because the wanna be puppetmasters lost their election that they are already plotting on ways to remove Glove and reinstall their status quo. Obviously they learned nothing from this election save that they need to multi harder next month.
Civil is a good guy, his downfall came from using the same parade of bafoons in the same places that got us in this mess and created the chasm in this nation.
I don't have any issue with Glove being president at all. I wish he would stop sucking Europian sausage and grow a pair in the big, wide world, and I know a lot of people agree with me, but who the hell said he would sell out America?

Good speech, althought it's easier than said. We'll see how much people will be willing to go to make it work.
regarding the RL commitment to democarcy, the Economist ranked RL USA #17 in 2010, just behind Malta and the Czech Republic, just ahead of Spain and the UK. Leading democracies are all Scandanavian countries, with Norway, naturally, #1
