December's WHPR
Oblige wins
Banks forming
Lately I haven't been doing much in the world of media. I hate to admit it, but I've had plenty of time to write, but no inspiration. Writer's block is a bitch.

As you can see, I just slapped that bitch.

I'm not going to lie, I'm getting a little bit lazy with my articles. It's showing in the amount of votes I get. The toughest thing I'm dealing with is writing just to get an article out there, resulting in boring reads. I've come to understand that I'm only going to write when I want to, but it seems like that is becoming more and more frequent as of late.
Oblige's Media Team
I have been made party of the WHPR news team. This month promises to be a fun media month with the head of the paper being Gnilraps. The others involved this month are Israel Stevens, Jude Connors, Ralph Ericson, Cody Caine, and Portcolumbus.

All of these people are great writers which will definitely help in this months "media blitz." According to Oblige we are going to be putting out three articles per week. This is my first government position, and it's odd that I am a member of the Press Corps before even being elected to Congress. Regardless, I would like to thank Oblige for letting me help get my name out there this month.

Oblige Winning
It was no surprise going in to today that Oblige would win. He was supported by 16 parties! The second candidate, Glove, was only supported by two. Obviously this election would have been much closer if Haliman didn't have RL things to tend to.

The Revolutionary Party supported Oblige as well. We would've thrown our support to Greeling, but he rejected it.

He sai😛 "I officially decline endorsement from The Revolutionary party. Though it would be an honor to accept it I just don't feel like I can do as good of a job that oblige can do and I think he deserves it way more than me. I am sorry to those who supported me but Oblige will do a great job and a whole bunch better than I ever could."
It takes a great player to say that, and for that I respect him.

With a new president all kinds of questions are now being raised. Will the USWP win next month? How will Oblige do this month? What kind of president has Goalie been?

My answer to the first question is yes. For the foreseeable future the USWP is going to win every presidential election. To the second question I again say yes. Oblige will keep the public entertained through the media, while defeating ONE through war. I think Goalie has been an absolutely mediocre president. It's been a quiet month, but we avoided a wipe, which I believe was the thing I will remember most about him.

Banks in eRepublik
All of a sudden there have been a couple of banks springing up in the eUS. I myself have invested in Mr. Andrews eCitizens bank

There is one question going around, and it's whether or not these banks can be trusted. I myself have invested 6 gold so far to test whether or not I will get the 8.05 gold I'm supposed to receive in six weeks.

My personal question is why isn't there an actual bank in eRepublik? It would be more trusted, and it would certainly be a cool new feature that would make people more interested in working and earning money.

I would like this, because like I've said before eRepublik is based around war. Sure, there are politics, but what do they focus on? Exactly. This would definitely make the economy more important than it has been. I like balance, so this idea is absolutely something I would support.
