5th Infantry [Dublin]

Daoine na hÉireann,

Due to the huge amount of new recruits we have been getting into the IDF, especially in the Dublin region, the 1st Infantry Battalion has grown to an unwieldy size, nearly double that of any other battalion.

Therefore I have decided to split the 1st Infantry and create 2 new regiments. The 5th and 6th Infantry Battalions. The 5th will be made up of half the current members of the 1st Battalion and the 6th will contain any new recruits.

To accomadate this expansion we need more officers from the Dublin area. If you would like to command a battalion please send me a message. Your duties would be :

In Peace:

1) To keep me up to date with the strength and availability of your soldiers.

2) To keep in contact with your men and let them know what is expected of them in the IDF

In times of conflict:

1) You will be lead your men on the field of battle. You will be the one in direct contact with you men and relay orders from high command.

2) You must ensure that your men are adequately equipped before leaving and when there you will orchestrate any health schemes that are put in place.
