PotUS:

Until now, we've been content to just trade back and forth with Indonesia for True Patriot medals and Natural Enemy damage. However, starting last night, the NSC/DoD team and I have started setting Air Battle CO's in an effort to end the Indonesian resistance once and for all. It's time to reclaim the Indonesian territories as it's rightful owner and remind the Indonesia people why America isn't to be trifled with.

C.O.S. interview:

~Jimmy Cincinnati~
Artella will be sent to an undisclosed location and the press conference will reconvene.
Today, we'll be talking with our chief of staff. Let's have a round of applause for DINNYIN!
Can you come up and answer a few questions? It will be brief.

~Dinnyin~
ok, go ahead.

~Reporter~
What's a governor? It sounds like a made up title, but it evidently has some utility. What are the duties of the office and what do you, really, do?

~Dinnyin~
The in-game title of Governor is usually given to the President's Chief of Staff. Historically the CoS is the President's right hand. He is responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of the Administration and advises the President on matters that come up that the President would be too busy to handle directly. The CoS also acts as a filter for the President, so that he/she is not bombarded on a daily basis. The CoS is also responsible for staffing positions in the Administration, so as soon as I saw Artela was leaving it became my job to find someone to replace her.

~Reporter~
What advice have you, for an aspiring politician?

~Dinnyin~
My advice is to continually contact those who are active in your political party so that they can guide you through the process. Also, don't sign up for something that you know you won't have time to do. If you do sign up for a position and find that it is more demanding than you can handle, reach out right away to the CoS or party leader. Perhaps you'd be able to stay on and assist and then step back in when time is more plentiful.

~Jimmy Cincinnati~
Those seem like wise words. Thanks for showing up.

USAAC/MorningStar:

The basic function of a CO is to organize and implement training and weapons distribution among the regiments of their Military Unit (MU). They are the decision makers and the face of the franchise, so to speak, involved in the MU's heavy decision making processes. The CO also appoints an XO or 2nd in command, and fills any other positions ( such as the Quarter Master, Recruiter, Media officer etc. ) that have a vacancy.

Right now we are in the infancy stage of the Army Air Corps. Setting up the command structure and supply chains, creating personnel tracking documents and recruitment articles, as well as plugging in those vacant roles with motivated eRep players. All the behind the scenes work that go into making a successful MU. Things are coming together. Buzz is being generated, and I believe the Army Air Corp has a bright future in the eUSA.

Air Force Update:

It’s been awhile since anything much has been said about our national Air Force. That doesn’t mean that nothing is happening though. Behind the scenes, people are working their backsides off and spending a fortune in gold to get things moving.

Founding CO, Tyler Bubblar has stepped aside because of a complex real-world life (yes, even big game players have them from time to time). Tyler provided the gold and time to establish the unit’s commune structure. For that, we should all salute him.

His replacement, Easy Company’s founder Mourning Star has kept things moving. He’s on the lookout for new recruits, so step forward if you feel the need for speed!

"Big things are coming in regards to our Air Strength. We are setting up regiments. We are also implementing the infrastructure and training tools we need to be an effective unit on the battlefield. Hale Kane is my XO. And though I have only known Kane for a short while, he is quickly becoming an invaluable tool in helping set things up. When the United States Army Air Corps arrives it will truly be... Death from Above!
- Mourning Star, Commanding Officer of the United States Army Air Corps
