'What I Am Somewhat Like' - Contest Article
Wilfie
Judging by how few entries there are for the “Who Are You?” contest, I’m guessing others are having a hard time choosing what to write about, as I was, too. So I cheated and answered the first three questions from this random question generator to help describe who I am:

What was the last movie you saw?
Last weekend I watched Public Enemies on Netflix. I expected a movie like The Untouchables but was disappointed with how it tried to push John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) as a doomed romantic hero. It felt more like watching Hollywood’s love affair with bad boy Depp than seeing why Depression-era people glorified bank robber Dillinger (I think they just hated the banks during that time). In the end, Depp is gunned down by the FBI and his enabler girlfriend goes to prison. At least that part was satisfying and stuck to the truth of what happened.
If you could try out any job for one week, what job would you choose to try?
If I tried out the ideal dream job, I think afterwards I would regret each morning I had to wake up for my regular job. Instead, I’d choose something quite dangerous and stressful like being a police officer in a rough area of Detroit. After that week, I’d be relieved to go back to my job and also better appreciate where I now live.
How often do you use your phone?
I use it at least a couple times a day to check e-mail or to see what’s happening in the news. As for the actual telephone part of the phone, sometimes I’ll go a few days or even a week without any calls. Text messaging means you no longer need to actually phone people anymore. Usually that’s a good thing on busy days, but on really quiet days with little to do, I sorta miss how telephones used to work.
Based on all that, the answer to “Who are you?” would be an unsentimental, practically-minded introvert. That’s not the most flattering or complete description but I think it does capture a bit of what I'm like.
By the way, the prize pot for this contest looks pretty good so it’s worth a shot. Use the question generator for an easy entry. Or don’t, and let OLloyd and me collect all the winnings. : )
PRIZE structure:
Every participant gets 50 Q7 tanks. There will be 3 bigger prizes.
THE POT: 10,000 CC + will be divided as:
First prize: 5000 cc
Second prize: 3000 cc
Third prize: 2000 cc

Good effort...but write what you know...random question generator is a little lame...But your about 4 steps ahead of those guys who didn't try at all! Just wait till you see my next article in a few days...it will be an awesome contest, where you rate and caption a picture. I am scouwering the internets for a great picture that will make it easy for everyone to make up a simple caption...
I suspect OLloyd is strategically trashtalking his main competitor so that he can gain an edge in the contest. I think the caption contest is also a great idea that will further sway the judges with his brilliance.
Dang, this is going to be a tough one to win!
Barely makes the cut for relevance, IMHO. But points for trying!
I am in quite a predicament. I want to participate, but since both our countries have a trade embargo, it costs 15 g to publish in canada. I've applied for CS, but it doesnt get approved!!
I'll post the article on your behalf. Send me the code or you can ask someone else to publish it. Predicament easily solved. According to me, you should get CS but well it is not in my hands as they think differently than I do.
Barely, huh? In that case I have more accurately labeled the title to reflect the contents therein. I'll just have to keep my toes crossed that it remains valid entry.
I think it is definitely relevant. I know someone who does this random phrase generator thing and it made me smile. I will reserve further judgment until the contest closes. Thank you for writing.
Pot value : 11,000 cc
Oj!
Nice one 😃
