[USWP] The Value of Internal Communication

Day 4,655, 12:25 Published in USA USA by Malpazar

This won't be a beefy as some of my other articles but it is worth mentioning.

There is a lost art among modern day businesses and organizations, one that used to require great effort but now in our era of modern technology is as easy as flicking a switch.

That is the Art of Internal Communication.

Within the context of eRepublik we have plenty of ways to communicate, whether that be shouts, newspaper articles, or the glorified email messenger that the user can use to send nastygrams about their recently stolen battle hero (I am guilty myself).

When discussing the politics of the new world, at all levels, open avenues of communication to domestic and international channels is absolutely necessary. We have such institutions like the eUSA Forums where we have created a meta congress in order to facilitate communication. A level lower you have party boards, where for the most part depending on the privacy of each party they have a public and private area to discuss things with members of the party.

That is where my praise starts for my party. USWP has had an absolute explosion of activity on our forums. It is all credit the use of internal communication, finding out what our party members are interested in, what topics they want to talk about and what their thoughts are on current events both domestic and foreign. eRepublik can be an isolating place at times, unsure of who or what you can talk about where, but thankfully we are opening avenues to increase this communication.

I have a few ideas nationally, I am sure we can make some advances in our own communication. Most importantly I would seek to consolidate messaging discussion to a single platform whether that be telegram or discord, which could also make the distribution of resources like the DoI site easier to access.

The expansion of the USWP communication network (so to speak) as mentioned, activity in the party is up, our numbers in congressional voting have increased, and recently we had our own recent Party President Krapis reach the highest office in the land. Who through his article series and his own efforts in the party has proven that communication + community can really mean something.

I look forward to continuing this pattern of success, being active and doing what I can to try to encourage that same activity in others. Communication is key in eRepublik because not only can it work to better coordinate the nation, it also really starts building and establishing a sense of community among the players. If you want to get in on what the USWP is doing, come on over! We are very welcoming and will always try to help you get on your way into the eWorld.
