[UK] An official message from the United Kingdom to Serbia

Day 1,194, 15:14 Published in Serbia North Macedonia by Foreign Office

Greetings, Serbia! Today, I write to you as a representative of the United Kingdom: its government, its citizens and its institutions. Whilst many of you are wondering why why we made the choice to join PANAM, we wanted to give you some time to think about our decision before we came to you.

This decision is not one which we took lightly, indeed, our congress has been in discussions in some form or another about alliances since the breakdown of Phoenix several months ago. Not many countries are in the same situation that the UK is, in that we had great relations with every Phoenix nation, and upon the formation of PANAM and NWO, we were faced with a very difficult choice.

Do we follow our great friends Serbia and Macedonia, or do we follow our other great friends of France, Brazil, Russia and Argentina? (I appreciate since their Cromania MPPs, you would not consider Brazil a "great friend" - but the UK can never forget their help in securing London, and fighting against Canada in v2 :3)

Equally, both alliances contained nations that the UK has, at some point, fought both directly and indirectly. Again, our problem here was quite clear to see. We've been invaded by Poland and Spain in the past, and in one of my last terms as President, we even swapped across France and invaded Spain ourselves. However, who was next to Spain, invading the UK? USA, Canada and they maintained their Japanese MPP at this time.

Whilst the "new world" is indeed, for the first time in a long time, actually new in terms of its alliance memberships, that doesn't mean that the past will ever be forgotten. In the end, our decision was based on our past problems with Poland, Spain and Sweden, as well as the problems we would face on gaining entry into NWO. Whilst I have no doubt that the promises of eventual entry we were told were true, the UK is in a hugely perilous position geographically, and as a nation we felt we could not risk a long stint of effectively being a neutral nation. Surrounded by PANAM, and having to work on relations with half of the powerful countries that would be needed to secure our regions, I am sure that none of you will judge this decision as a "betrayal."

In short, I am writing to you today for two reasons. Firstly, I wanted to outline to you the decision we had, and why we took it. To be blunt, we had a firm invitation from PANAM, which contains both former allies, former enemies, and our greatest friends in France. On the other side, we had a possible invitation to NWO, in the future, which contains both former allies, former enemies and our greatest friends in Serbia.

I cannot stress just how thankful the UK is for the lengths which Serbia has gone through to protect not only our regions in the past, but also, fighting for our entry into NWO. Whilst we have decided upon another course, your efforts will never be forgotten, and I speak both as a representative of the UK Government, and as a UK citizen here.

Another question which many of my Serbian friends are asking me:

"jamesw, now you have joined PANAM, is our efforts and costs in renting your regions all for nothing?! Why would you do this to us!!!"

I can confirm categorically, that the rental arrangement between the UK and Serbia will not be affected by our PANAM membership. The fact is, it is a great deal for both the UK and Serbia, and even PANAM realises just how much this deal means, not only to us economically, but also for our future defence. As such, there will never be a PANAM lead invasion of your British territories, because that would be PANAM fighting against its own interests!

To conclude, (non-serbs forgive me for being repetitive), Thank you for helping us for the past million battles, Thank you for considering a nation which is in its totality, smaller than most of your regions, as one a true friend, and Thank you for being there even when you had bigger concerns like your Croatian war.

Signed with love,
jamesw UK Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister
keram10 UK Minister of Foreign Affairs
