[POTUS] RWs, and MUs, and competitions, oh my!

Day 2,006, 17:38 Published in USA United Kingdom by Artela

Good day eAmerica.

It’s been an eventful few days. We’ve had so much going on as a country, and in the background all the usual diplomatic talks and planning that go on as a matter of course have still needed to be maintained. There is quite a bit going on, so this is a summary article to point at those things everyone should know about even if they have been covered elsewhere.

Once again we tried to RW Aquitaine to remove the rubber bonus from Serbia, however it seems they had more support than we did and so we lost despite valiant efforts all around from both US-AIM and USAF forces combined with some of our oldest allies and even some foreign mercenary groups. A special shout out from me to the Germans here, who were stunning, helping us by running Arm America on our behalf with the help of some of our Quartermasters and some of their own supplier staff.

The Military Unit competition continues apace, and some American units are doing extremely well. Everyone should be trying their best to hit from MUs either in the top 50 internationally, or with a good chance of making it up there with a little extra support.

There is a lot more detail on both these topics in The White House Press Release.

Now that our current chances of RWing Aquitaine away from Serbia have evaporated, we have to thank France for making it possible for the attempts and letting us use them to keep an NE open in case we took the region. It seems only fair, though, that we now return all their regions to them to allow them to have a Congress for the next month, and so I ask everyone not to fight for the USA in the battles to return these regions, and to fight for France if a battle looks to be going the wrong way. I know there was some confusion at the start of the first RW as it was started early and as a result communications had not been fully made to anyone to make them aware that the regions were to be returned; for that I apologize, but everyone should now be aware that we are not holding onto those regions.

Just a reminder that there are other methods of two-way communication for anyone in the eUSA to make use of. As well as the national media and my inbox we also have national forums (link at the bottom of the article), national IRC channels and a national radio show once a week.

One initiative being run by the Departments of Interior and Education is the Mister and Miss eAmerica competition. Some of you may remember back to the farce that was the Miss eRepublik competition not too long ago - this is an attempt to stop eUSA being in a similar position again. All eAmericans who feel they would like to represent the eUSA in this capacity if similar international competitions are held again are encouraged to enter. It’s all just a bit of fun, and the details can be found here: Mister and Miss eAmerica competition

And finally, I’ve been asked to repeat a list of some of the key members of the cabinet for you with links, so here it is.
