Daily Economic Snapshots

Currency Snapshot

PHP dropped below 0.010 last night to 0.009. Could be good news for exporters located in the ePH. USD and CNY held firm at 0.010.

Marketplace Snapshots for High Volume Industries

Iron, Q1 food are solidly competitive, aided by the drop in the PHP exchange rate. My advice is to travel abroad/have someone abroad donate higher ticket items to you at this point due to exhorbitant prices in the ePH.

Note that eChinese prices are consistently higher than those found in the eUSA.

Relative Pricing as of 0:00 Server Time

Our lower exchange rate means that prices will be higher here in local currency terms. This will help with our local competitiveness against importers. Prices in many categories remain completely out of whack with those found abroad. Be aware that you are pricing for a world market now.

Small But Mighty

The ePhilippines can never match the total damage of a large country like the eUSA but rather can exceed her in per capita damage. It's like being Manny Pacquiao to the eUSA's Muhammad Ali. Both kick ass. But Manny Pacquiao is this generation's BAMF. Let's make the ePhilippines this eRep generation's BAMF.
