[Nobel] Redefine success

My fellow Countrymen,
Today I am writing to you in times that are very hard for us. We have realised that we are facing a sober reality.
We must not forget that we are strong and that we can achieve something.
I would like to use this opportunity to refine the key data of our policy in my candidature for party president.
First, however, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your passionate and dedicated service!!! We have shown that we are not easy opponents and should not be underestimated under any circumstances!
Nor have I reinvented the wheel but can only offer sweat and toil !
1. defence
Our battles have shown one thing: We are strong. It is hard to fool us. We have a strong squad that should not be underestimated.
But we're uncoordinated, we just kind of go for it and hope it works. We lack the size to make something like that work. We have to channel our strengths and compensate for our weaknesses.
Therefore, we will campaign for the following points:
- Introduction of a preparatory phase
In the event of an announcement of an attack on us or an operation which starts from our side, we will not simply let the time pass! We will create a database that asks individual players how much they can be deployed and when they can be deployed. Associations will be formed to take responsibility for individual divisions and implement them. We will create demolition lines that will save unnecessary waste of resources.
We will analyse our opponents and adapt a plan for potential victory.
- Creation of a database of mercenaries
We are not strong in all areas. So we will work to create a database of mercenaries already now, in which the prices as well as their areas of use are negotiated and discussed. This pool of available mercenaries will be contacted and scheduled in order to still be well represented in areas where we are weak. This creates capacity for us and allows us to use our power even more efficiently.
- Implementing a Joint Forces Programme
We have friends and we have allies. We need to work with others to be successful in the long term. However, this also means that we need to start talks. Similarly to Realist, the objective is to seek out those in our circle of allies who have strengths but also weaknesses similar to ours. Within this circle, we coordinate with each other in matters of defence. This should enable us to access further resources in an uncomplicated and speedy manner to counteract our deficits. This is not a one-way street, it also means that we have to stand by them.
- Immediate supply programme
In the event of operations in which we have to act, individual players who have already reacted in the preparation phase will be immediately supplied with weapons and equipped with them in order to be ready for combat.
- Manoeuvre Exercises
In order to be more efficient, it will now be the government's task to carry out manoeuvre exercises. This means, among other things, that we will act in the operations of our allies. We will make resources available for this and use our planning in preparation. Routine creates security. Exercises reveal mistakes. Mistakes that we can correct and improve before the real thing happens. In my eyes, this is absolutely necessary in order to lead our troops to a new level of effectiveness.
2. financial matters
All this costs money. I am talking about a considerable portion of our budget. This has to be financed. Of course it is the case that even more active game play (=by taking part in men's clubs) will be rewarded more. However, I now see the point reached to deviate from the current air programme. The results are too low. Our focus must now be more on keeping us defensible.
So discontinue the air programme. In order to further improve the defence capability and still support everyone, the programme can be replaced by a housing programme.
The housing programme can require, among other things, that individual players have at least two houses (Q1+Q2) to keep and that they have a steady development in the course of the game (through the development of points). This programme therefore reimburses a part of the acquisition costs of the two houses. The advantage is that now more everyone can participate, thus enabling the players to have basic equipment.
So money can be spent in a more targeted way.
3. And why am I writing this?
My point here is simply that we need to move on. We need to coordinate and structure ourselves more. The better we are positioned, the better we can react and the more successful we are. If we give ourselves just 20% more structure, I predict we will be 100% more efficient than we are now. Yes, really.
With that in mind, give me your trust in Nobel and I will work to make Sweden truly more successful and victorious. So that the Viking can win again!

The only thing I want to ask here is about the alliance that we are a part of, I don't think it actually functions the way it should. I mean, if you can't rely on your allies in this game, then what is the point of remaining in such an organization? So far, except giving up some territories I didn't see anything in the likes of coordination, mutual attacking/defending, it even doesn't show the wars that the allies are a part of on the war tab.... so I want to ask here, can we change anything about it ? Like, joining some other alliance at this point to me seems like a very fruitful solution since the help that we are getting now is literally non-existent.
I agree with Max above here when he says that Swedish citizens should come first, but i also agree with Turnbeutel that at least some mercs are needed to turn the tide of the war in many occasions as we have seen.
When a country is part of alliance such as Asteria or Code it's not possible to count with their help all (all, all) the time. The big countries in those alliances have many things to deal with. Sometimes your country may get their support, sometimes not.
What "other" alliance your country could join? If it's not Asteria or Code it would be typically an alliance playing only TWs or another one like Hydra which supports Asteria in their wars (the results might not be much different)
Except we haven´t gotten help ONCE since we joined Asteria.
Stop protecting these lies that Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia care about you, all they truly want is your gold and resources.
If your country has been having a bad or good experience at Asteria or even any other alliance, i don't care about this. Who said i like Asteria or Code?
I just posted what you may expect when you are part of a big alliance. If your experience will be good, bad, or whatever, it doesn't matter to me.
Asteria fits well to Sweden. The alliance of toxic communities, exactly as Sweden is.
Oh, and before you ask: Brazil was part of Andes (code's partner) estimated 3 years ago and i had french citizenship for estimated 1 year and a few months, so I watched close what is like be part of alliances in this game.

CODE is another junk where Sweden deserves to be part of. Yeah, go to be allies of Turkey, Greece and Argentina, lol

We’re only unorganized. Of course we can ask ourselves if the Alliance is the right choice. Neutrality means only boringness and no wars. When we want war than we’ve to organize ourselves. That’s my point. Since every war we did until now, our strategy was the same. At a certain point we’ve to say that we need to change that. We’re going unprepared and without into a war and later we ask ourselves why we fail. We’ve to be more reflective
Most of our wars have been together with allies, both offensive and defense. But as you say, it's not clear based of graphics in the game. For example, much of the strategy is based of rotation between regions to open/close wars, which is why the map looks like a mess in many countries. This means that much coordination is needed and for an offensive to be successful strategically, multiple countries usually need to attack, which is the reason for most our airstrikes during the last year.
As there are legend/protector bonuses and true patriot medals for fighting for your own country, most tend to fight directly for their own country, which also goes for our fighters and means that you won't see many foreign tanks or pilots unless it's epic (where we have received much help in epic air from Asteria multiple times).
I personally have not been involved in a conflict like this, so I have no experience. I have no damage either, I can barely fight in air, or a strong warehouse.
Perhaps the best option is to wait until the percentage of influence is in your favor and attack in the rebellions. A coordinated attack in those circumstances can be good. Meanwhile you can farm in allied countries.
I don't think the problem is the little help from the alliance. I also don't know if the Swedish government is talking to Asteria about getting organized. Voots is a person to deal with well, and I've already seen him hitting for Sweden. He is a competent person, when an opportunity opens I am sure that Asteria will help.
Fully agreee. Voots is reasonable and get along with most players but his inbox is probably quite full time to time..
a very good article and a solid plan to help e-sweden, but the biggest issue is how to make e-sweden (and nobel) more active and involved with e-swedish politics/battles...
thats the big point.
and to perhaps discuss for e-swedens relations with asteria, and how a good coordination can happen, if you were to remain in cooperation with them, that is.
