Day 4,859, 12:02 Published in Ireland Ireland by Irish Foreign Ministry

So where were we?

That's right we had pushed the UK back to our self-imposed 'red-line' and were starting to circle around the South West, making sure we left the Spanish resources alone and the Bulgar and Romanian TW's alone with a little path linking them in East Midlands which was also helping form our nice little buffer but then an odd event happened in the UK-Romania Training War.

The United Kingdom conquered East of England

Not to fear, the UK didn't suddenly find an exploit or a dozen new Legend XX ranks - Romania didn't turn up to defend the region as per the agreement they had with the UK.

Whether they left due to forgetfulness, distraction or to concentrate their forces in more important regions in light of the recent descent of banhammers - Their departure left a hole in the barrier we had built and a vacuum in the South East.

Ireland has moved to fill this hole whilst still upholding its regard for the interests of other nations with a slice of the UK's pie (Spain, Bulgaria and Lithuania) and the current operational map of the UK is now;

So if it's coloured a lovely dark green then Irish players are free to do whatever they will but the other regions should be avoided.

After over a week of waiting the UK has offered a suggested peace deal to Ireland which certainly qualifies as 'breathtaking' and it has been passed to the Dail for discussion.
