Hello all,

The MM

I come to you again with very uninteresting news. The damn MM has been messing with my head once again and is driving me insane! Today I put up the first offers for 0.003 due to the price rise of gold. This makes the later 0.004 offers redundant and I presume they will not cash out (I am leaving them up because the cash will not effectively be used before it cashes anyway – the first 4 that is, the rest will be needed – so I would like to use them as an experiment). So hopefully, in ten days we will see some gold coming out of this again. If gold stays below 500 that is. There is a real chance it will go above that and then the offers will have to be reset. There is no way to pre-empt this at all using the MM bot. The only way would to be to buy all the gold currently on sale with CC and just wait for the gold to rise. However that is a risk I am not currently willing to take.

This Term’s Expenditures

MoD

This term the MoF took over funding for strikes and CtA. Originally it was a mixture of tanks from the BEF and private citizens.

So far we have had three strikes his term (Wednesday x 2 and Sunday x 1) which have used a grand total of 512 Q7 tanks. Given the price of tanks at the time of the strikes this would have cost a little over £9k.

From the start of the term until day 1820 (4 days ago) CtA had spent 1484 Q7 tanks. Predicting how the past four days have gone we get a total Q7s of 2226. Over the time that is roughly £38k.

So in total that is a predicted £47,000 for the current strikes and CtA program from the 5th until the 17th, 13 days.

However, this does not actually get deducted, currently. Due to the BEF’s system, it made a lot of tanks but did not give them all out when people did not claim them in IRC. This has left us with a reserve of about 3k Q7 tanks left. So this was pretty much depleted by the actions above. These will run out in the next week or so.

MPPs

In total, over a term, we get roughly 15 MPPs. Since the last article we have paid for seven of these, that is £70,000.

A total of £150,000 is likely to be spent on this.

Daily Income

Using the country account value from the last report and the current country account balance (remembering the £70,000 spent since then) we can find out that our average daily income from taxes is currently £8519. Over a 30 day term that is £255570.

So…What?

So far this term, the MM has made us nothing. The fluctuating gold prices have caused this. Gold dipped below the 333.33 for half of a day and that ruined the whole system. In ten days, if gold is between 333.33 and 500 we will be making some profit again, if it is below 333.33 on 21st Nov at 00:21 we will make some money too. If it goes over £500, it will be another 10 days from then that we can even consider the MM to be making us money. Please remember this is so volatile, we can not depend on it for consistent cash.

With an expected £255570 this term from taxes how do we spend it? 150k goes right away to MPPs to fight for our allies. Some would argue we need more than that, just the other day we had no battle we could possibly set as the DO for a while.

That leaves us with 105,570 to play with. Extrapolating the CtA and Strikes costs to a 30 day term this actually comes out at £108461. This would put us in the negative for taxes this term. Hopefully the MM becomes stable again and we can pull some cash from there!

As you can see, the team here really are pouring all your tax money back into the system.

This Term Specifically

So currently this term we have brought in £110753 and had £90000 go out from MPPs. Nice bit of profit there. Just make sure you remember that that reserve of tanks will not be there forever!

Thank you all,
