Like good decent ePatriots, I’m sure you’ve joined me in ruining your Saturday night to witness the glorious near-landing of Great Britain to the exotic continent of South America. Here, we are told, there is a great a-hunting of various nefarious adversaries that our glorious allies dearly need us to get in the way of.

Thus after a brief chat in cabinet to confirm this isn’t morally wrong, the MoD is happy to open the ‘Official eUK Gov Sweepstake On How Long Until We Inevitably Balls Up And Get Kicked Back to Blighty’.

Accepted bets will be taken in whole days only. Winnings will be split between those with the correct guess, divided proportionally to how much they each wagered.

This is all too easy - 5k says 3 days - (Paraguay liberate all of their territory by day 3415).

A much better question is what happens AFTER Paraguay have rid themselves of univited guests...

I suspect that the word of the week in Paraguay is RETRIBUTION.....

Retribution is much too strong a word.

When KDon told me you were coming and asked to land the word was 'bemusement'.

We're a very small country (50-60 active) but contain statistically better fighters then UK (espacially in air) and we know battles here are 1 to 2 million cc a day and UK is very close with its money.

I'm not very experienced in UK politics ( I was in UK recently for a few weeks) but I assumed this was one of those things where a governement distracts from internal problem by acting externally?
