Before we begin, I'd like to take a minute to recognize all the hard work done by your Legion Commanders. Thanks so much to jamesw, Justice Boomticket, Howard27, Zonmei, Elle Roslin, Rawdon, Rednoahl & many others for making the Legion military unit what it is today. These commanders, who sacrifice their own time and energy to benefit others, are the backbone that's made Legion not only endure, but thrive.

Right, so let's get down to business. As some of our Legion members may know, Legion is a military unit which seeks to encompass the whole of the eRepublik experience and part of that experience is company ownership. ESO has always been the party of the individual. Underlining that belief is the idea that individuals working in cooperation with one another can achieve remarkable things together. So, after 43 days of quietly building strength behind the scenes, I'm pleased to announce the officially unofficial opening of the Legion Raw Material Cooperative. The Legion Raw Material Cooperative is a group of large producers committed to building company capacity in others. Members of the cooperative voluntarily donate their earnings to rapidly advance the building of raw material companies for fellow Legion members. When a 'critical mass' of companies is reached (defined as 79 Q4 raw material companies + 2 gold for daily strength training) the Legion builder's role shifts from building companies on his (or her) land to building companies for others.




Since the beginning of this program on Day 1455, the Legion RM Cooperative has donated 733,950 GBP to help build company capacity in others. This is roughly enough for new Legion builders to construct 2 new Saltpeter Mines on their land, every day, for 43 straight days.... and we've only just begun. In the coming weeks we'll be expanding our co-ops base and increasing our earning potential to create more companies, for more players, at a quicker pace.




Legion currently supplies 10 Q5 weapons per day to all members who work in Legion approved companies for minimum wage. If you're not interested in working for a Legion company, or have other commitments, all members of the Legion Military Unit receive 1,000 wellness of food every week for simply being a member.
