CONGRESS ELECTION

We have an encouraging ticket this election, with a wealth of experience and service in all three traditional branches of the old eAustralian Government - including former Prime Ministers (CPs), Senate Speakers, Inspectors General, MU Commanders, national and international eBusiness magnates.

Re-elected Party President Callumh123 has laid out a responsible agenda of practical solutions for our country, that are both reasonable and doable. It is our promise to the people as one of eAustralia's longest surviving political parties that their voice will be heard at the table. Callum has asked for any additional candidates to please step forward and nominate.

The party asks all eAustralians to consider us and VOTE KNIGHTHAWKS MILITARY COUNCIL at this Congress election.

On the 25th we go to vote for the next Congress (Senate) of our e-nation. This month is special every year for RL Australians and New Zealanders, as on every 25th of April we commemorate the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

What makes 2016 such a special ANZAC Day?

This year is special, as it commemorates the 100th years since the first Anzac Day commemorations were held on 25 April. The day was marked by a wide variety of ceremonies and services across Australia, a march through London, and a sports day in the Australian camp in Egypt. In London more than 2,000 Australian and New Zealand troops marched through the streets. A London newspaper headline dubbed them "the Knights of Gallipoli".

Marches were held all over Australia, in the Sydney march convoys of cars carried soldiers wounded on Gallipoli and their nurses. For the remaining years of the war Anzac Day was used as an occasion for patriotic rallies and recruiting campaigns, and parades of serving members of the Australian Imperial Forces (AIF - as it was then known) were held in most cities.

Both countries stand shoulder-to-shoulder, as they did then, to ensure that their peace extends not only to the past and present - but the future.

Lest We Forget those who paid the ultimate price, in service.
