Dear fellow countrymen and women,
I am proud to be eBelgian today. Proud because most people haven’t put their heads in the sand.
Out of a population of 667 people and an active voting population from around 170 I can tell you that 70 citizens have send in a valid vote. I had to remove 2 votes from foreigners. “YES Maartenw one was yours” also there was 1 invalid entry with the wrong link and I had to take out the vote from DonMatteo because he is permanently banned.
These are all the people that voted. I will give the supreme court access to the full gdoc so they can control if the result is valid.
But now the result:
I think it is very clear what the majority of the people want.
As of now I declare eBelgium is neutral in our hearts and I will take measures to also make it happen ingame by adjusting our MPPs and talking with our neighbours.
And remember people, we are all doing this for the love of eBelgium

It's been a month after the war with eNL and you still have 8 (pro)ONE MPP and just one pro TEDEN MPP. You've only been signing/renewing ONE mpp's and for over a month been saying that you are going to sign TEDEN mpp's.

Fhaemita I am now 4 days in office the referendum result is only just out. I will be in the first place not renew some of the MPP we are currently having. And all the rest you will find out when the time comes.
We can still, neutrally; invade eNL, can't we ?

Interesting stuff
Are we in obligation to fight with our mpp ? No. Sure if a country from our mpp's is attacked, i will make all i can for this country. But for the defense.
Neutrality is the best way. We have a lot of friends in both sides, we must take care about our diplomacy.

@Fhaemita: You know full well several Eden and Terra countries that were approached to sign snubbed us at the start of last month. Furthermore, to not waste an MPP at the start of the aTO wipe during the congress elections, the MPP negotiation with eUS didn't go through fully. I think though, since eBelgians really want to continue this independent course, there shouldn't be more then 4-6 MPPs signed each month in order to be able to maintain a certain balance within them.
aldous: good point. imposing neutrality on imeprialist alliance's members is almost a duty of any progressive society, to stop the insjutice of nationalist wars and conquests anywhere.
mittekemuis: give the people access to the full gdoc so they can control if the result is valid. not only the court. no need to be afraid, i suppose.
LinOleum You can ask the Supreme court judges to go and check it out for you. I don't disclose private information just like that.

what if i don't trust supreme court. why r 3 citizens privileged to c the raw data, and u hide it before the rest of citizens? u've said u will make it public. now u won't?
Why would you not trust separate people?
Why would you think I go and rigger the outcome? If that was the case believe me we would not be neutral at all.
I protect the peoples right to be anonymous in their votes. Ever stop to think that some people don't like the world to see which side they prefer?

that is all nice words mittekem, and i really don't think u manipulated the outcome. however if someone want to hide their opinions, thats suspicious already, no matter how sweet coating u cover it with.
if nothing else, u decieved some of us with writing u will make the data public after the voting is done. and therefore i want to take back my vote.

Nope it shouldn't or people wouldn't be free to express their own opinion.
That's why your vote is private in democracies... doing otherwise is undemocratic.
how the public vote makes an individual less free? how the private vote (aka hiding ur opinions) makes an individual freeier? pls explain to me
Because he will vote to what he thinks people would expect from him and not according to his own believes.
if one "vote to what he thinks people would expect from him and not according to his own believes" that only makes him/her a hypocrite. that doesnot make her/him freeier person at all😁 more likely it cause the direct opposite. s/he will become a slave of what the others might think about him/her.
lin0leum, to make it simple : non-private vote is an open door to such things as "I pay you if you vote for this option".
