[CP] A long update

Day 4,444, 11:56 Published in Ireland Serbia by Don Croata.

Hi Éire!

Firstly, I'd like to apologize for my inactivity, especially during the last few days, I've had the most important examn in my life so had to deal with that first. Next couple of days will be much more productive for sure. There are several plans and things we need to do and there's been a lot of events I had to write about in order to keep the Nation up to date.

The Irish Army is reborn!

Reorganizing our military was one of the main priorities and we're on a half way to do so. Our national MU is now fully back & operating on the high level. We've separated ourselves in three regiments, each specialized for their own thing. Belfast Brigade is created for packers and those who can contribute the most during the ground battles. Air Corps are re-founded in order to make sure we're always there for the allies and the Republic. For those who aren't that much into the game there's a Regulars regiment where they can just chill and still get some supplies for their efforts.

Rusty D has became a new Commander of the MU, T0413 & Vincent Van Goat are the new 2nd Commanders while we changed some Captains as well. We have a great team there and I'm sure it can only produce good results. Rusty and Vincent already started with the articles and it would be great if you'd give them a read. Vinc spoke about the Air Corps, while Rusty made his introduction of the new/old Irish Army. We're still to redesign the supply scheme for each Regiment.

Air Project has seen some changes as well. It's not being ran by nikolao1994 who did some good stuff in reorganizing that project as well. We've reduced the supplies there in order to increase the supplies for the Air Corps. Basicly, now we're rewarding strikes much more than kills being done anywhere without coordination, which was exactly our goal. New budgets are to be proposed to the Congress once Eire 2020 economics plan is over.

Training Wars / Airstrike on Thai

We've allowed our two friends Albania and Finland to play a ping pong TW in our regions. It makes us safer having two loyal friends in here and also it enables our allies to grow further. We're not having a ping pongs with both countries where defender always wins. Finland took Wexford, while Albania situated themselves in Dublin. They will also have a ping pong across the Irish sea with Chile, another ally of ours in UK. Training wars are always a good thing when it comes to getting your rank increase or make some money through TP medals. We're also organizing epics every Tuesday so the Irish citizens in lower divisions and those with Maverick packs can make a productive start of the week.

In the meantime Asteria has launched huge invasion on Southern Asia which resulted with our Airstrike on Thailand, we was needed there for strategic regions. Our Airstrike was a part of Plan B which wasn't needed since most of the Asterian moves were successfully stopped. However, Romanian, NMKD and Bulgaria landed in the Indian region so things are about to get nasty in there. We'll stay for now and play another ping pong TW with Thailand. I was excited to get a chance for a real war in that region, but sadly, it's not happening yet.

Positive changes in the Alliance

As most of you know I was fairly unhappy with how things in the alliance were going, but many of that has changes during the past couple of weeks. Day after the elections we had a meeting where we dicussed the necessity of having a HQ in order to run the alliance with some success. CODE had its glory days based on few madmens who made huge effort to make things happen, they've managed to motivate most of the CODE's tanks to buy packs and get themselves active. However, when those madmens wasn't able to put that much of an effort CODE has started to fall deeper and deeper.

An urgent change was needed so the first ever meeting that included all the Presidents (except South Korea) has produced those changes. CODE elected its HQ and made a few more decisions, including the reorganization of the channels setup. Positive changes has already started and the coordination has been better than ever recently. We're now finally looking like an alliance and not just a bunch of Government members on the same channel. I'm also happy to say that all the Irish proposals were accepted by almost all of our allies. We've been discussing Northern Ireland issue as well and agreed to let it stay under the Turkish occupation for now due to technical & strategic reasons. However, when the next change happens we'll surely be asked about it again.

During this whole time, our Congress has been informed about everything and I have nothing but a praise for the lads in the current Congress setup. There's been several very constructive debates and I'm looking forward for more of the same.

Polski bratanki

Poland was very generous to accept our invitation to help eIreland by Airstriking and taking our productive regions Cork & Mayo. Their first Airstrike was stopped due to our two countries getting a border in Thailand, but today they've proposed a new one and we can expect them to open the battle tomorrow. Most of you already know the type of the deal as its the same one we had with the USA, before their embargo on us.

Our friends from Poland will replace USA and enable us their country bonus by closing the war with us. They'll be able to use our region bonus, while we'll enjoy the 100/100 bonuses they're having. Poland will return us the taxes collected in the Irish regions. We will surely remember this great move made by a big country for a small one. Dziękujęmo!

The Embargo

USA has donated the asked amount of compensation for our producers who have companies in their regions after they mistakenly proposed trading embargo on us. Whenever I remember that law I'm still pretty much shocked by that kind of a move. I know there's been a lot of sceptics about this in our community and trust me, I was sceptic myself too. If we weren't offered a refund on the same day when embargo was proposed I wouldn't believe it was a mistake, but since our friends from the USA apologized and offered the help it would not make any sense for them to lie.

PotUS has donated 730.000 IEP we asked for. Refund will be sent over to the Irish producers tomorrow when I'm ready to prepare the financial report too.
