This article returns to a format I used a while back with small sections containing what I hope are interesting snippets of news (and maybe not news). Enjoy!





The latest in the long running epic saga of...


There have been a couple of changes in the past week of some note.

The first of these is the unified Currency change, meaning that there are now only two units of value in the game; gold and “one currency fits all” (although it is still labeled in the local country old-currency in each country). The long and the short of this is that people who were making their money by taking advantage of the differing rates across various country borders can no longer do so, however we won’t now all need to go scrabbling around to find foreign currencies to start resistance wars as the generic currency will now do the job. We have seen the price of raw materials rise heavily in the wake of this change - good news for producers but not so good for military communes.

The other change that has been pre-announced is that houses are to disappear completely. Not unsurprisingly this has meant that house prices have now gone through the roof as the “compensation” for any houses in your inventory at the point they remove them is a new temporary health building adding up to 50 wellness to your wellness counter for up to 500 days (depending on the Q-total and amount of houses you own at the transfer point).




So, Congress. Anything of interest happening there?



There’s a discussion on changing the tax rates, and the usual monthly look at the budgets. There are also a couple of ongoing threads about various congressmen in the public area of the congress forum. A fairly quiet time in there, but worth keeping track of if you’re at all interested in congress proceedings.




And finally... A Chicken Tribute...
