[A Response to Tyler Bubblar] Well maybe not a direct response..

Day 4,766, 19:14 Published in USA USA by Malpazar

Don't expect a whole lot in this article. I started writing a comment on Tyler's recent article and figured I would put my thoughts as a somewhat quiet member of USWP out there, but keep in mind, these are my thoughts. Not the party's.

I like to think that eUSA sometimes mirrors reality, at least somewhat. Division and political polarization are becoming increasingly distinct in our modern political climate to extreme extents beyond what I thought possible. The messaging specifically about the evils of the establishment are not lost on me for their real life parallels in the anti-establishment rhetoric of Donald Trump. There almost seemed to be an artificial boogeyman created as the theme of this election, the evil establishment controlling the government, a small coalition forming to fight that establishment. Tyler's messaging about this increase of political tribalism did ring true with me. It probably should with you as well, but I suppose that it depends on how seriously you play the game. I have been paying attention for a while and seeing the parties can get a bet testy, especially lately. Almost as if that real life political animosity is permeating into the game, causing those on both sides of the spectrum to react with more voracity in a political situation they can actually control. Basically I think they are very much connected.

However this where I do push back against Tyler. I do not think the messaging, at least from a lot on WTP, was deeply serious in its nature. I think it was just the overall theme of the election. A "Build Back Better" or a "Make America Great Again" simply a rallying cry for one side. I understand a lot of your points, and maybe I did not see what you saw or to what extent you saw it, but I still question how serious it all was.

Tribalism regardless is an absolute destroyer, granted it might make the game have a touch more intrigue on the domestic end. It does have the makings to unravel the nation as time goes on. If I am wrong on the above paragraph, and WTP and BSP truly seem themselves as some sort of us against them situation, we aren't in a good spot. (Including BSP based on articles I have seen with the same messaging).
Parties of the Elite:

I don't think I am accessory to some establishment, never was clear to me if I as anyway. USWP, my party, communicates internally matters on what happens in congress or elsewhere debating the merits of important decisions, not what other parties might think but what we do. Sure we are old as balls, one of the oldest parties in the eUSA if I remember correctly. Our party has some great people who have been around for a while who's presence makes the game a better place. Any ill content labeling in some sort of evil cabal is greatly exaggerated.

In fact we had an extremely contested primary with several candidates on the docket and it was a very tight race to the end, simply because we found both candidates well worthy of the title of President. Our end decision to support one candidate over the other is not based on some sort of "establishment mindset", or whatever we are accused of, it is simply one candidate won over the other and let me just say it was close, really close. Kevin Sheridan our Party President and myself were whipping folks to hop on the forums and vote because it was so heated. I loved it.

Granted, I am not a top politico, far from it. I have always kind of skirted the sides of this game, involved but not deeply. My involvement is more at the party level, or congress. Because, well honestly no one ever really asked me to be involved in any administration. Although I did volunteer this time! So maybe I am not part of the elite, establishment, what have you.

Maybe there is something I don't see, some back room filled with smoke, expensive booze, and hookers. Well if there is, at least let me have the key because it gets lonely in the Secretary General's office, but that might be because I don't keep the heat on in the winter.

In Conclusion and follow up:

In conclusion, I hope that whatever perceived divisions that exist between the eUSA parties can be worked out and dealt with. If they were ever that serious to begin with. Still we are a nation at the end of the day, we need to act like one. I also want to stress, by the absence of party related imagery, aside from my own personal party related comments I am not representing my party with my words. This is just my own 2 cents made into 25 cents.

Other than that, I am planning on writing up another "What's Congress Up to?" as well as some interviews with some folks on more meta type positions in our government. Something I was planning to do as Secretary of Education under a different regime, but something I would still like to do but under the banner of the USWP instead.

Finally I want to end this with a congratulations to Chickensguys, I am sure you will do a great job. But my only two cents is I hope you alleviate the concerns many seem to have on unity (my god we really are mirroring real life politics).

Thanks for reading and ignore any spelling or grammatical mistakes I am writing this while watching my Bills play the 49ers.
