The Political Tusnami, A New Change For eMalaysia?

“What appears to be the end may really be a new beginning.”

First of all I want to say a few words on my victory on the recent congress election.
I was born on the 27th of December 2009. Back then I never thought that I would play this game this long yet alone achieved anything such as becoming a congressman but on the 26th of January 2010, a day before my 1st month since I play in eRepublik I become the newest and probably the youngest congressman in eMalaysia.
I still remember when I was still a newbie and a new congress just got elected. At that time I made a promise to myself than when I become a congressman I will donate 4 out of 5 gold that I won to the country but when finally the day come I decided to only donate 2 gold to the country while the other 2 gold will be donated to the DPP fund because I think that donating DPP fund will help more newbie who joined DPP in term of wellness and etc than just donating it to the country.
Now I want to say thank you to all of those who voted for me and I want to say thank you to CDV, DPP current president, Nagyzee one of the DPP tops and a few others important people in DPP for giving their trust to become a member of congress under the banner of DPP. I will do my best to do my duty and not to disappoint all of you after giving me your trust. Thank you again.
Now let’s talk about the outcome of the recent congress election. FUP, eMalaysia current ruling party gained 11 seats, DPP gained 8 seats while the other parties another gained 9 seats. Two Serbs PTOer also manage to gain 2 seats.
Currently DPP is working with other opposition parties and this leads to the opposition having more seats in the congress than the FUP, the current ruling party which also means they just lost the majority in the congress. This could be considering as a major change in eMalaysia political landscape since ww88 took over the presidency office. With this new set of events in eMalaysia politics I would like to call them as the Political Tsunami. The political tsunami is terms that are used by RL Malaysian to describe the last general election where the opposition manages to win a lot of seats in the RL parliament.
So now, how eMalaysia political landscape will be change by the recent political tsunami? Are we looking at the downfall of FUP and the rebirth of DPP as the leading party in eMalaysia? Well only time will tell.
Till next time, vote and subs
😁

vivo opposition!!!
You should check your facts a bit more before publishing. 🙂 Just some friendly advice.
And on a related note this brings no change to anything, since leading people have always been working together with the same goals in sight. I feel this rivalry many of you newbies in DPP have expressed doesn't really exist.
no..
FUP lost their majority seat not because ribirth of DPP.
there is no relation to ww88 because he is not the current PP of FUP.
you need to see that first before blame someone else.
it not easy to maintain the majority seat in each election.
but,you never beat us in the election if doesn't add the other party candidate.
It's hard to maintain the seat!!!
i really want you to see you as the PP of DPP after thsi and we will wait whether you can maintains the seat or not..
btw,still vote🙂
the ww88's cabinet is actually a mix cabinet with FUP n DPP members... so if the ww88's administration has relation wif the election results, then the DPP also should be blamed..
This article does not gonna help in bringing unity. First denied!
fyi: in the Congress System, its different with Parliamentary System. In a congress, there is no government and opposition parties; there's only have first party, 2nd party, 3rd party n so on..
All parties serve eMalysia.
Party affairs have not too much importance.
Unity, common work has got importance!
Lol. look at all our righteous senior citizens - stomping down on an excited newbie who just won his first election. shame on all of you. Come on, give him a break, will ya?
now, to answer your 'allegations':
@Hasif - you re wrong. Even in Congress/Senate based system, representatives are generally voting based on party line - and therefore making it possible for a ruling and opposition coalition.
@amillin - indeed, unity is much needed. but when 4 Fup congressmen rained down on a DPP newbie - it doesn't say much about unity.
@hasif again - while we re on unity and cabinet - i don't think many will claim the current govt is a coalition goverment. with nagyzee there, and a token badlands17 as MoI? LoL. It's almost laughable to claim coalition govt.
@sla-boyz: can't be bothered to reply. sla-boyz is always right (yeah right).
@nevven - indeed, the congress seats allocation will not change anything. but it gives much joy and spirit to a newbie who just won. so, a friendly advice - perhaps try energize some of FUP newbie congressmen? I hardly see them around much.
Now, that's out of my chest - let's remember we re one nation. Yes, 1nation. (apa lah bezanya -what's the difference?) hail eMalaysia!
@CDV
I refuse to energize my newbies by labeling the other parties "the enemy", which I unfortunately suspect you have done, as this is not the only article talking about change and downfall of FUP. It's nice to see more newbies get involved, but they should be happier for their own success than for the failure of their friends.
As for the government, I really don't know how many times I have mentioned this. First of, the president will obviously chose the people he can trust and work with. People who are competent to handle the job. Second, MoF is ran by Nagyzee and SHBalage, MoI is much more than a token role (and you should know that), SaraDroz had no party affiliation, cct_84 is a part of the government (the first PR member to have that role) and seanlam was offered to head the MoIaC, but declined for an understudy role in another department. We also have Fragreg with an advisory role, although he is not a minister.
So yes, it's very much an unbiased government that works to promote unity, and we have tried to represent all the parties. I think it's laughable that you're undermining that sort of work.
@Noveras
You were chosen to represent DPP, and I wish you all the best during your term. Hopefully you can avoid petty arguments, like the one above, by working together with your friends in FUP.
Well, yes, this congress victory won't change much but it's still nice and a source of joy on our part. I think presidential elections are a lot more important. A switch in power there could change a lot more things even though we have always had a coalition government now and would have afterwards as well.
I haven't seen FUP labelled as an enemy on our chat and private forum by anyone but cooperation being turned down by FUP certainly spiced things up a bit and made us do our best in trying to gain victory. But all in good sportsmanship.
why dont we stop being biased ..?
this just a game. have fun for it.. seriousness kill the game you know..
CDV already explained about everything else except this......
@Sla_boyz
I quote from your statement
"you need to see that first before blame someone else."
Now I will quote from my article
"This could be considering as a major change in eMalaysia political landscape since ww88 took over the presidency office."
Do you see anything saying that ww88 or anyone else that matter should be blame for you guys to lose like what 7 seats?
@nevvven
I qoute from your statement
"I refuse to energize my newbies by labeling the other parties "the enemy""
now please present to the world a proof I or any other DPP members ever said or lebel the FUP as the "enemy".Before you make such accusation please read my previous articles on how all eMalaysian no matter what party they are work together to stop the serbs pto.
now,before you FUP seniors come raining on me again please view your self in the mirror first.You guys are labeling me as someone who inciting rivalries and do not have a good spirit of sportmanship.now tell me,when you guys come raining down on me do you guys do it with the feeling of good sportmanship?
I still remembered on the first week of my elife I got bashed like hell by you FUP seniors just because I critize one of your so call "genius" idea. I was also treated like a dirt when I asked one of the FUP senior member when I asked him what is our startegy on facing eIndonesia and he just replied "we will build a wall".
I was raised by the DPP seniors to be an outspoken person who is not afraid to say anything on his mind even thou it can be wrong.If you guys doesn't like it than just shut up and move on by teaching your newbies to be an ass sucker to you guys.
nevven - you can ask anyone in DPP, as well as come into our DPP private forums. not once i have labelled fup as an enemy. I may have used the word political rival and that s about it. i don't know why everytime I come up with something - that veyr moment i will painted as the black sheep. You know as well as i do, that I am doing the whole election at the spirit of fun - and as usual, national unity/importance is more important.
ww88-the article as well as our comments were rather civilized....at leats i think so. unless we can't even agree to disagree.
wao... like RL politic here!!! haha!!!
indeed...i refused to talk
this article can be site for DPP/FUP to give out what they think about the party.
haha..
many comment post here(agree with cct_84).Like RL politics.
@noveras
`This could be considering as a major change in eMalaysia political landscape since ww88 took over the presidency office.'
this sentence show that you put the problem lost seats in the cabinet by the FUP to ww88.
i know thgat is no word that say you blame ww88 but it's implied meaning.you should now it if you learn malay.
btw,still good article
@Noveras
I have in now way "rained down" on you. All I've done is tell you to do some more factual reaserach before publishing articles. My other comment was a general view on things, and my reply to CDV was more of a question, based on the number of somewhat questionable articles. I have been hostile in commenting some articles in the past, but this is certanly not one of those cases.
Although your reply shows a lot of resentment towards FUP, so I see this might be a case of an individuals grudge.
I wish I could see what idea you felt you had the knowledge about to criticise it...
@CDV
Sorry, I now see it's something they have gotten into their own heads.
Okey noveras.
I admit that you get A1 in Malay.
So you must be careful when you publish your article.
It show that you anti-FUP.
It not good to our politic arene because it can cause PTO to happen in our country.
But i don't want to blame you since we still friend.
Beware when publish your controversial article.
i don't mean to insulting you noveras!!!!!
@Sla_boyz
Ok I just can't understand why you guys see this as an attack to FUP.This is just a political analysis and nothing more which is why I use "?" that sign so many times because its an analysis and I'm suggesting what might happen in the future insted you guys see this as a statement which it is not.I repeat,THIS IS A POLITICAL ANALYSIS
alamak - guys, tak habis lagi? 🙂 There's is not insult. Criticizing, arguing, debating are part of modern democracy. Hell, the Greeks and Romans had plenty of debate too. Even if, even if, noveras decides to launch all our tirade to anyone, that's his right. noveras is right - i do encourage all DPP members to be vocal, particularly constructive comments. That said - let's agree to disagree, ya. Play nice.
@nevven - i was looking for you in irc too. 😉 I think the younger party members should learn to discuss, debate and talk politics civilly.
@CDV
The Roman and Greeks has the tendency to kill one and another in the forum XD
@Noveras
The first comment about energizing was aimed at CDV, not you, but I think that's resolved now.
I have no problem with your article and I don't find it offensive in that sense, I just think you should have based it on more factual material. For example, pantherthug89 is a FUP congressman who moved to PR to prevent the PTO, making it 12 for us. The other fact you should take into consideration is that several of our Malaysian voters were unable to get their votes in at the last seconds because of the flaws in this game. Had they done that, 2 of our other candidates would have made it, amillin and godm. Giving us 14 seats.
Obvioulsy that's still a drop and you could have written about that, and it would have been a good article.
the falacy of being newbie - you will never know the whole story.
so, nevven - are you going to tell me more about the *you know what* ...?
hahaha
I'm on the irc a lot, so if you have questions that's where you'll find me. 😛
