If one hears the word constitution he maybe is thinking about his own fitness 😉

But i want to draw your attention to the 100th Anniversary of the Austrian Constitution.
Usually i would react to this topic the same way of most others - mainly getting very tired suddenly 🙂

But i saw a ZIB2-History recently and it was very interesting. unfortunately i can't share a link - it seems it's no longer available on ORF-TVthek

We had a lot of things back in the days. It had a meaning. Now there is no need for countries to make things like these cause its all.. automatic. Robots I'd say. Old players tired of the game. But new players like yourself bring hope 😊

It all started in 2008 by Aanok Tourmil President of Austria.
Aanok's lifelong ambition was to enact the Constitution of Austria. He worked tirelessly for many months on the new constitution. It was approved by the Congress, but was never enacted.

Before he left Erepublik, Aanok had sent the following message to Austrian Congress member Hrvat. It could be said that it was Aanok's Last Will and Testament:

“ And again, I'm flattered, but no, thanks.
Tonight I'll delete my eRep bookmarks.
It's your call now.
If you want to do something, for me, lol, just enact the Constitution when you regain power. That would be really great... ”

The constitution was enacted - 1 year later in 2009 by Lynari and OIP. Constituion was brought up to date by Rangeley.

Constitutions in eRepublik were a thing mainly in the early years till like 2010. Nowadays 2-3 countries still mention and even use them. One of them is The Netherlands.
