RESISTANCE WARS 101

Day 4,961, 19:03 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

Resistance Wars
As you should all know by now we were finally wiped from the map about two weeks ago. The Battle of Mississippi was hard fought on both sides, but despite an enormous effort by ourselves and our Allies, we fell short of victory. I would like to give a very belated, but very grateful “Thank You!” to our Allies who dropped billions of damage for the eUSA in an effort to keep us from being wiped. Your help will not be forgotten!
Now, since we are wiped, we only have one way of starting battles, and one way of freeing ourselves.

Resistance Wars, or RW.
All RWs will be posted on the National Feed and we are currently paying 10K to each supporter.
Which means now is a great time to review how RWs work. Most of you know this stuff, but some of you don’t. Now let’s review! From the Wiki:

“You and nine other citizens can support a resistance war. You all receive the Resistance hero achievement if the region is liberated.
You can only support and start a resistance war if:
you are located in the region you wish to liberate;
you are at least level 25;
you have 1000 currency;
ten (10) citizens support the resistance war;
the region was conquered more than 24 hours ago;
the resistance force of the country is not currently fighting a resistance war in another region in the same conquering country.
The resistance war starts automatically when the tenth citizen supports the resistance war.”
That’s how we start one. But there are other factors that come into play.

Determination or Det. More from the Wiki.
“When a resistance war is started, the influence of each soldier fighting for the resistance is multiplied with the determination bonus.
Influence represents your impact on the domination bar in battles. The determination bonus only multiplies your influence, NOT your damage and rank points. In other words, players will still contribute the same amount of damage for their true patriot or battle hero medals, but their influence against the opposing side is bigger.”

You can read about how it’s calculated here. Determination
The short version is, the longer a region is occupied, the higher the Det goes. The higher the Det, the harder it is to defend against a RW. However….

If the RW fails, we have to wait 24hrs, from the end of the battle, to start another RW vs the same occupier.
And everyone who supported the failed RW CANNOT support another RW for 7 days. That’s called benched.
Now do the math. One RW a day is 10 supporters, that’s 70 a week. And since we are likely to lose many, if not all of them, that’s a lot of people on the bench. This is another area that our Allies have been helping us with. Supporting RWs when we can’t get enough supporters.

Now that we’ve reviewed the how to of Resistance Wars, let me finish up with this.

We are wiped. And the only way to free ourselves is by bending the knee after we have suffered enough humiliation, or by winning some of these RWs. Or at the least by making it more of a hassle to maintain their occupation than to just leave and call it a day.
We need everyone’s help in this endeavor, not only supporting RWs, but fighting in them also, if we wish to have our country back anytime soon.

Never Quit, Never Surrender.
