Price of Weapons

Dear Business leaders,
It has come to my attention that the price of weapons in our country is very high. Currently a Q1 weapons is 0.247 gold - as compared with the best price on the world market of 0.171 gold.
So our weapons are TWICE as expensive as the world market price.
Given the low costs of production here, I do not see any excuse for such a disrepincy. Please adopt a fairer pricing policy. If prices do not drop to within 15% of the market price (i.e. around 0.196 gold each), the Czech government may invite foreign importers to sell to the Czech market.

I think our bigger problem is that we have almost no Q1 weapons in market. But I noticed that company The Saint has 55 of them, you should write to that company to start selling those weapons.
While I understand what you mean OP, you might want to think a moment about the tone you have picked.
You can't just pick two prices from the world market and start throwing them around you. What are the salaries in that country? Did you consider that the local price is increased due to factors like not enough employees, imported iron and an actual training war going on?
IMO the first question should have been, how many weapons can you produce daily and what are your costs.
To lower costs and increase production, many food workers should go and work for weapons companies a bit. We have more than enough food on the market and in stock.
If we don't have enough weapons for all our citizens, why can't Army Orgs buy weapons abroad and redistribute them among soldiers? There doesn't seem to be much use to low prices when there won't be any weapons available, will it?
Now we have no Q1 weapons at all. If anyone want some, I can buy them in Romania and send it to you. Just PM me if interested.
@DaLe - agree with you. The tone its a little unfair. But considering all the factors you mention the current pricing remains opportunistic and unfair.
I have company in Slovakia which produce Q1 weapons - if you want some you can PM me - price is 0,17 gold each.

Another option would be for the government to create its own weapon company in order regulate the market. The other company would have to match your price or be driven out of business; however, this is a very socialist hands-on approach that is not at all conducive to free-market ideals... It all depends on how much control you want the government to have.
