Hallowed are the digital halls of eIreland's Tír na nÓg, a far and away place, neither here or there but beyond. Noble are her stalwart citizens, both past and present, fine eRep players from every corner of the world who have come here to contribute their efforts toward eIrish life, love and liberty. Our eCommunity may seem a tad bit laconic as of late, but we manage. Real info is broadcasted to who it needs to be broadcasted to. We are one of the tiniest eNations yet we've possibly the sharpest voice in the whole ensemble cast of other eNations.

We're a proud home to wanderers, exiles, rogues and the truly, truly talented.

I have no ill feelings towards any other ePlayer, their business is their own, but as for the fate of my RL home, well, I can't make it any clearer, if you're wearing that little tricolour badge, you're either all in for eIreland or fooling no one but yourself.

I don't want eIreland wiped so now that I'm in Congress I'll do whatever I can to get a fairer deal for our small community. Any eIrish player, new, middling, old or lost entirely can find an ally in me. The ePlayer with the agenda for their pals is something I'll be watching out for, vigilantly.

The ePlayers that have chosen eIreland as their home, to conduct their business and fight the good fight, have my utmost admiration. Having experienced different eNations and Communities, it's fair to say the current establishment have a decent handle on things and I'm glad to be apart of this months cycle of Congress as a member of the I.L.P. - But, if they mean to rule as anything other than eIrish then I'd sooner go back to no counties, wiped out and ruled by any eNation. I cannae stand usurpers. The effort required to be such a.. Anyway..

I've been welcomed back with aplomb and I'm happy there are so many responsible folk, out there taking care of eIreland when'er I go a rabblin'. As a man living in Ireland I could get up on my tip toes and say my opinion has more weight, but it doesn't and it shouldn't. Although we haven't enough RL players to wave the Green flag as Pearse or Connolly would have it, we do have enough interested, passionate ePlayers, from all over the world, that would see Ireland survive, with it's native culture fertile and alive and with the luck we collectively make for ourselves and our Country, possibly even thrive. And so..

To those players, I give my utmost gratitude as you've given your fealty and labour to an eIreland we all can share. Together we can create an eIreland that any willing ePlayer can call a home, beyond simplistic "Irish Pride", instead an understanding of an eCommunity that requires effort and care, whether it's just social participation, like this or full on, coordinated in-game damage.

I don't think I'm alone in the belief that the average Joe is meant to strive for an exalted version of their chosen homeland, therefor I ask you, my fellow patriots, why not eIreland? An eIreland built by it's brightest thinkers, protected by it's most staunch defenders and held all together by it's faith in Community? If all this sounds far fetched and fanciful then look elsewhere for an eNation to ruin with your dour self. We have the guts, we've the spirit and we have, in abundance, the fighter's glory right where it needs to be, in our deep hearts core.

Glad to be back eÉire!

Éire Abú!
