Dusk or Dawn

Day 4,701, 12:16 Published in Belgium Belgium by Director9

Citizens,

if you have been following the eNews recently, there are several CP candidates.

Which is great, I can only embrace more activity. I have been reading both my opponents articles and the replies to those articles and felt compelled to write a short piece.

Pretty sure those that know me, know I'm not a great fan of metagame/roleplay within this game. Be fair, be honest, that's my motto.

Unlike the other candidates I have no promise of change, things will continu as they are. Housing program, BAF days now and again. Honestly, I wouldn't even know how to start making everyone active again. The game is what it is, pay to win. What will also be as it now is : open door, everyone was always welcome to participate or come with good ideas which we as a government, or personal player, were willing to support.

That's what I've not seen in years now, any need or desire to actually to do something, not even ideas. Shouting for change is easy, change means work, something any player can do at any time, no matter your status. And that is what I'm missing in the other candidates, no work has been done, no incentive has been taken in years, that would show the other citizens that someone new is on the block and actually trying. That is taking the easy vote, everyone wants change, and shouting change will attract the attention of the few that linger around.

Which brings me to my final point I want to bring. Already been warned not to alienate my voter base and I will try. We have few active players, and active is not logging in once or twice a day, click/work/train/dump damage. It's also being informed. And all are correct that there's little newsarticles being written. Many times I've tried to in the past, and now I stick to just putting it in the country feed if it's important. With such low figures, forums and formal articles seem pointless, easy and quick to work together, share information on an informal basis. Plenty of medals to be gained in our TWs, and I might look like a medal wh*re to most because I take most, but I have always asked to let me know if one would like a shot at a BH/SH. Can you guess the response I got on that? Zero.

It's up to the voters to decide : keep things as they are and have the option of coming forward and be engaged with an established team, or vote for change without knowing what that change is besides someone else in the chair.

Your current CP,
