CC - running for an unprecedented 22nd term of office in the UK House of Commons

Day 728, 00:53 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by certacito

Once again, I am offering my intent to stand as a candidate in the eUK Congressional Elections with the inent of representing Northern reland in what will be my 22nd contiguous term of office.

Congress (or Parliament as we prefer to title it here in eUK) has been quiet of the past month, with little debate or legislation being passed through the chamber. This is both understadable and predictable, as most citizens are reasonably busy with real life commitments (including myself).

However, if previous history is anything to go by, I expect that the next 2 months will be a little busier.

On the policy front, I intend to pursue the folowing initiatives:

- Continue to fully support cooperative alliances (particularly important with the weakening of the PEACE coalition)

- Fully support the organization of military forces for home defence, incorporating citizens who reside within the eUK

- Actively promote continued opportunity for citizens to participate in experience and health enhancing combat (both training wars (T) and 'real' war when available)

- Support fully the education and health services that are so essential in reducing the 'infant mortality' amongst our new born population

- Push for more 'Public Accountability' from those in Central Government; I want to see how our Government allocate and distribute resources in order that we can participate in 'informed management'

- Stand against bullying, threats, coercion and disrespect of any kind and against any member of the Erepublik Community.

I believe that I am very much a 'safe pair of hands' who has a good track record at attending and participating in constructive debate which leads to useful legislation. I am not a supporter of over engineered solutions which demand large amounts of time and/or resource; if a proposal can not be read, digested and understood in TWO MINUTES, the it does not pass the 'CC 2 Minute Rule' and therefore should be rewritten. Brevity and conciseness are essential tools in the execution of effective Government.

In summary, if you want an experienced and seasoned guy representing Northern Ireland in Congess next term, the VOTE CertaCito!
