2nd eOlympic games prizes announced

There’s less than 10 days to go until the 2nd official eOlympic games so I thought I’d share a few statistics on the upcoming games and announce the gold prizes for these games.

Statistics
Firstly the current number of entrants for each event is as follows:

Archery is still a favorite with 39 competitors

Diving: 20
Equestrian: 23
Gymnastics: 20
Swimming: 30
Triathlon: 36

And the events with FREE entry:

Weightlifting: 126
Kayaking: 113

Again Iran is sending the biggest team with 39 competitors closely followed by Spain (28 competitors), Poland (27 competitors) and Australia (22 competitors). It seems like Iran is definitely outdoing it’s rivals in the sports funding department.

Prizes
The gold prizes for these games will be as follows:

For paid entry events including Archery, Diving, Equestrian, Gymnastics, Swimming and Triathlon competitors will receive a massive 10 GOLD for 1st place, 5 GOLD for 2nd place and 3 GOLD for 3rd place.

For the free entry events including weightlifting and kayaking competitors will receive 1.5 GOLD for 1st place, 1 GOLD for 2nd place and 0.5 GOLD for 3rd place.

That’s a HUGE total prize pool of 126 GOLD! With prizes like this how could you not be in these games?
