2 new events with free entry

Today I have added 2 brand new eOlympic events and entry for them will be 100% FREE for these games!

The new events that have been added are Weight lifting and Kayaking and along with them there’s some new equipment available to help boost your skill while competing.

Why are they free I hear you ask...
In fairness to newer eRepublik players it makes sense to have some events available without an entry fee. The eOlympic games are meant to add an extra level of fun and introduce some competition into your eRepublik lives and as such the games should be available to everyone, even the less wealthy or tight-walleted ones.

The down side to free entry is obviously that there won’t be a large prize pool as with the other events. Basically if you want the chance to win a large pot of gold enter the non-free events and if you’re in it just for the glory (or the exercise) have a crack at the free events.

The future of free events
In future games I guarantee that there will always be at least 2 events that are FREE to enter. The events that are free will vary from time to time as well.
