Dear soldiers,

Our recent draft was a great success: 62 new players volunteered to enlist in our armed forces (not counting existing members). Of these 7 were rejected because the applicant either has no allegiance to our country (3) or does not log into the game on a daily basis (4). Congratulations to the 55 successful applicants. Please find your name in the unit assignments below.

Concurrent with our draft I also wish to introduce a reorganization of the Bundeswehr. On the top level there are national and mobile forces. National forces are composed of infantry division (InfDiv) whereas mobile forces comprise our tank divisions (PzDiv). The organization is as follows (commanders are in parentheses):

Suggestions for the naming of units (like "Brandenburg") can posted here.

Everyone in the mobile forces is asked to PM their commander to indicate that they are ready for duty. E.g. hamsun87 sends a PM to Chicco, beni95 sends a PM to General Mithrandir. Commanders are asked to send a PM to me, informing me of the status of their members. Please respect this chain of command. Your commander should always be your first point of contact for requesting information, travel tickets, and weapons. Only in cases where your commander is unavailable should you contact people further up the chain of command.

Also, everyone: subscribe to the Wehrverwaltung newspaper for official announcements.

Mobile forces, in particular 2.-4. PzDivs, will be funded for active training. National forces will have the opportunity to fight when one of our MPPs triggers. In addition, resistance wars will be launched in the Austrian territories to provide training opportunities for the national forces, but this is in the early stages of planning.

Commanders will be assigned ORG accounts. This will be done by PM and announced in a future article.
