[Nerf4CP / Président] Campaign Goals
NerfMinions
Our campaign is growing! I would like to thank the Canadian Progressive Party, for running me as candidate, les Canadiens Francophones, for their endorsement, and the Party of Opprobium, for their endorsement as well. Teamwork is dreamwork, and we have plenty of teamwork here at #Nerf4CP.

It's great to see articles being published on the Canadian political scene. I truly believe that perhaps my rather unnecessarily long campaign has stirred things up a little bit. Can't please them all
🙂
I would like to share with you, my fellow Canadians, our campaign plan today. As we finalize the #Nerf4CP Team, comprised of some of the most competent figures in eCanada today, we are developing a visionary blueprint for how we can build up eCanada in the upcoming month. Below are some of our core tenets / principles as well as some of the ideas we plan to look into over the following month if elected.
Communication / Communication
One core tenet of our administration will be constant communication and transparency. I myself will publish weekly articles, necessary battle orders and updates, and consult with the general public on policy and decision making as often as I can. Expect to see weekly recaps of what your government is doing for you.
Training Wars / Les Guerres d'Entrainement
The Government of Canada is currently in preliminary discussions about having a training war on foreign soil for the benefit of both parties involved. The NerfMinions administration, if elected, will continue these talks and we hope to smoothly start a training war if possible.
Cooperation with Allies / La Coopération avec nos Alliés
The governments of Romania and Serbia have long cooperated with Canada. A NerfMinions administration would continue this positive relationship, cooperating with allies as required.
For long, the idea of a fund for new players, or an air training program in Canada, has been thrown around. A NerfMinions government would attempt to set the groundwork for a new development program to the benefit of the country.
Comments
Any specifics to be given about what cooperation with allies looks like with regards to Orion?
What does the development assistance look like to you?
What can we expect to see from a government headed by you with reference to budget: income and expenses?
Loving the questions here!
1) In regards to Orion, if there are any Orion-related issues that would come up, my administration would move to protect our allies as necessary. Our Orion allies are incredibly valuable as well, and have been there many times for our country. Includes other allies we have around the world, for example, countries like Lithuania.
We will also renew the MPPs with the Netherlands and Cuba, and see if there is a case for signing new ones with other allies like Estonia and Israel, with the approval of the bi-partisan council.
2) With regards to development assistance, this would likely come in the form of a direct CC payment out to air-fighters, based proportionally on how many hits they do compared to other people in the program, as well for leveling up. CC payments give flexibility and allow for players to decide what they need - we trust that players are able to manage their money responsibly.
Furthermore, we would offer development assistance to new players who seem eager and willing to contribute long-term to eCanada's wellbeing. This could include multiple small grants in CC, Food, or even Gold for Training Grounds. As PM, I am also hoping to perhaps start a nice collection of articles informing new players on basics like training and the economy module that can serve as a "Welcome to Canada" article.
3) With reference to budget, Canada's budget has currently been well-managed by its Cabinet, which has successfully kept track of how much government money is being held by private citizens, or in organizations. Notwithstanding a surprise war or random event, our government will fall somewhere in between surplus or a minute deficit - I will be keeping track of the tax revenue from the day I enter office to publish in news blurbs to keep citizens informed. Given that Canada is economically prosperous and has great production bonuses for almost all citizens, and is making a decent amount of money off of taxes, etc, I believe that it would be best for us to spend this money towards bettering the status of Canadians while we are able to do so efficiently during peace-time.
In response:
1) This is the first I've heard of "the bi-partisan council". Care to elaborate on what that is?
2) Right-O
3) Do you have any estimations as to numbers at this time?
Thanks for the prompt answers.
1) Bipartisan council is just the idea that not only are we including the people in the cabinet and those who have prior experience, but also making a conscious effort to ensure that each party has representation in the cabinet so that everyone more or less has a voice. Will it work? I suppose time will tell, and obviously for this to be implemented I would have to win the election.
3) In terms of an estimation, currently, the Canadian economy makes approximately 22,000 dollars each day - give or take off of WAM, Taxes, Concessions, etc. As I am briefed about the financial situation of the country if I enter office, I will gain a clearer picture of the financial situation and I am sure that the hard-working and kind members of cabinet are able to help me out with this a bit 🙂
However, as the math comes out right now, the country would make about (22000 x 30) = 660,000 dollars to spend during my presidency. Some possible expenses that we might incur:
Signing MPPs - 30-40k (Renewal with NL and Cuba, as well as potential new MPPs)
Air Fighters Program - 20-30k weekly, 80-120k monthly (Lowball estimate perhaps)
New Players Program - 10k weekly at most, 40k monthly (We don't have that many newbies)
These three programs bring us to about 200k with about 460k left to spend monthly -> this leaves us at least at status quo plenty of money to work with in the case of expenses that I am not aware of yet, and leaves us with plenty of money to spend on other beneficial program as we get the details of them. Please do not hesitate to ask for more details - I am happy to clarify.

Can I have a bigger office?
For you, my good Pickle? Anything. You can have an entire hallway of offices in Parliament. There's not many of us left in there anyways.
