[CP] PEACE DEAL BETWEEN IRELAND, FRANCE AND THE UNITED KINGDOM
10 Downing Street
Dear all,
After two months of hostilities, we have reached a deal with Ireland and France to end hostilities. This peace is designed to last and will allow us to prove ourselves as a trustworthy nation again. This deal has been accepted by all parties.
France, Ireland, and the United Kingdom have succeeded in reaching a peace agreement concerning the core regions of the United Kingdom currently under Franco-Irish occupation. It also includes the countries present for TW which are currently North Korea and Finland.
The aims of this article are to detail this peace agreement:
The peace agreement between Ireland, United Kingdom, and France:
1 - No hostilities between the UK and the named nations (IRL, FR, NK, FIN, ALB, THAI) for a month after ratification
a ) If there have been no hostilities for a month, the agreement is extended for another month
b ) If the treaty is broken, the UK will have all its regions removed.
2 - All regions occupied except Northern Ireland will return the tax to the UK
3 - Ireland will control Northern Ireland for the full two months of the treaty
4 - In the first month, the UK will have a singular TW with North Korea, and will control 2 regions: London and the North East of England
After the second month, if 1a) is satisfied, the UK will gain control of Yorkshire and will have a second TW with France.
5 - Thailand will occupy Scotland.
The first and second month's maps:
We will be posting orders for the RWs soon. We must ensure that we do not engage in any hostilities with any of the aforementioned countries.
I hope and believe that this peace is not a temporary measure, and we can work closely with our neighbours in the future, and put this period of aggression behind us.
Frix

Surrendering after just eight weeks - even the French would blush at waving the white flag so quickly. Surely this was an opportunity to strengthen ties with allies and not roll over at the first opportunity again.
I understand your concerns, but realistically speaking, the UK is not in a position to independently liberate itself. A lot of our allies have their own wars to deal with. A long-drawn-out conflict with many different belligerents would not have helped the UK in getting a better peace, or a long-term peace.
"A lot of our allies have their own wars to deal with"
What allies? Check the country page, we have none. Another win for eUK diplomacy?
Tbh, allied counties these days don't sign MPPs, being that they have TWs with eachother. But yes, there is no one currently who would/could help us militarily...
"strengthen ties with allies" Yeah, about that...
Interesting ..what allies are you referring too? Can they beat Code?
You made a mistake in the title; when talking of a "peace deal", what you meant was "complete and abject surrender".
>"allow us to prove ourselves as a trustworthy nation again"
Pathetic. Ireland is relentlessly aggressive against us, flagrantly abusing treaties and using the slightest pretext to seize territory, and here the government is thanking them for shafting us and begging forgiveness for not being "trustworthy".
What's the point in having a territory or two and a minor stipend to get by on when the price is sacrificing our lands, our sovereignty and our dignity? If Ireland wants to reduce the UK to a grovelling servant, then at least make them waste as much effort as possible rather than legitimise their occupation.
At the end of the day, as has been stated before - we did break the treaty. I understand the concerns, but we can't pretend we are stronger than we are. What should we have done? Stay wiped? Try vainly to free ourselves? Lose players slowly because we have no territories? 2 months. It's 2 months left, then we are finished with this deal.
"2 months" - I'll bet 100k right here and now that within that 2 months Ireland finds some excuse to claim we broke the treaty and either resume the war or impose continued terms of servitude. They claim the eUK is not "trustworthy" when Ireland are ran by people like Nerusia and Alfa.
"What should we have done? Stay wiped? Try vainly to free ourselves? Lose players slowly because we have no territories?"
Lose players because we have no territories? How about losing players because the UK isn't even willing to fight to defend itself? Because we not only tolerate people like Alfa stealing our BH medals, but sign treaties to confirm their right to do so? Losing players because people would rather fight for a purpose, even if it's difficult, then just do nothing but accept whichever humiliation is imposed on us?
No doubt, as Ebrietas has stated below, Ireland (Alfa's credit card and supporters) will find some excuse for after 2 months. However, 2 months gives you time to plan and prepare, a pause to regroup.
So, how was that fight for liberation? You should run for CP next month and present us the plan.
For example, UK gets all it's territories back, what would you do with them? This game is currently a modified version of FarmVille...
The penalty for breaking the treaty is to be wiped which is where we are now.. so we have nothing to lose.. because we currently have nothing
Except our dignity. That's been thrown out entirely.
Our dignity? Maybe we think we have that, but the country has a really low reputation internationally...
Careful Nomad, that was two whole sentences. With that much work you'll be resigning from writing comments by dawn.
Great input as always with your comments... And regarding my article, it served its purpose.
Embarrassing that we agreed to this
Understood. But it is also embarrassing to be wiped and not be able to free ourselves and be seen as nation that can't be trusted.
It wasn't the nation that started the RW and i was fine with being wiped
That is your personal opinion. I disagree, I think being wiped does not help us. Nor does capitulation. We ended up in this position due to a few rogue elements in the UK. We have to accept this and move on, and focus on anywhere but Ireland. And we can't do that unless we end the hostilties.
Being wiped is total capitulation.. we don't have much military strength so we have to use other means to get our regions back.
Agreeing to this is capitulation, being wiped is not a surrender
Yes, it is capitulation. But not as if much was happening all that time the eUK was wiped. And again, we are free to get wiped after two months, no obstacles for that if we chose it. We could also get wiped before that, but wouldn't be nice to be branded treaty breakers again, we have a low enough international reputation already. So it's simple, stick to the treaty for two months, if we are not happy with it after that time or don't get better terms, we kindly explain that we're not able to continue under these terms and we get wiped again and another path can be taken...
Being wiped is the worse thing that can happen.. it means we are utterly defeated .. we have nothing.
This is the equivalent of a boxing match. Where knowing he was going to lose, the UK boxer faced a choice, give it his all, fight till the end and win the respect of the crowd. Or offer the other boxer his house, wife, car and an agreement to live in the garage for 2 months to end the fight.
UK boxer chose the latter and then employed a PR team to tell everyone it was the logical move.
No at them moment we are seen as treaty breakers and we have no respect. We have lost our home, car and garage and are on the streets. We have the choice of staying on the streets or sleeping in our house .. of course the other choice is 10 rounds with Mike Tyson when we don't even know how to box and then ending up on the street.
Irelands congress voted it down i been told? CP signed it?
I wasn't made aware?
best you go check with there congress then?
The Dáil Éireann did indeed vote against the executive signing the deal on their behalf.
Irish government has been taken over by South African imposters, I reckon a RW in Northern Ireland to expel them should show the people of Ireland we support them.
Once you start minding your own business and stop trying to tell us what to do in here, the african imposters might show some mercy and allow you more than two regions.
Doesn’t make sense, but welcome back
Thanks, but too soon to say that. Just here for a couple of mins to see what goes on.
Was looking at your newspaper, seems you announced leaving the game a month ago, guessing that didn't work out. It's hard, I've tried leaving it a year ago, bit seems it didn't happen 😁
Btw, you still making multi accounts, or you stopped with that?
I announced I'm going to 2-click, seems like you havent been reading carefully PN.
Never said I'm going to leave the game entirely.
And I haven't made a multi for a LONG time. Thanks for asking. UK is full of them though.
Cool
>'And I haven't made a multi for a LONG time.'
*polite applause*
Maybe some normality?

Welcome CODE overlords. This is a game where things change from month to month, not after 5 years, so live in the moment. I'm fine with gradually normalising relations with our occupying countries. And in the case eUK got all it's territories, what would have people done? Invite countries to have TWs. These ones happend to come uninvited and won't leave, so...
It's not so much Code as Alfa and his apologists who spent most of their time undermining the UK from within and now seek to rule over the UK from without.
OK, but this deal has more to do with CODE and didn't come from Ireland...
Not even close to the reality Paul. But nice try.
“Complete and abject surrender”.
A disgusting, dishonourable and unforgivable capitulation.
You can always run for CP and unilaterally abrogate it.
you have-
>name change back
>resign ire mofa
>rejoin eUK mu
y?
Maybe he's planning another coup?
