Anti-bullying campaign launched
As with all online games, it's no secret that bullying and trolling is taking it's toll on eRepublik. While some may consider this just a factor of being online, many (including myself) do not consider it that way. The Daily Dose is very proud to stand behind Mittekemuis in her recent campaign against online bullies called "Because we will not stand by." We strongly urge you to take a moment to read the article here and get on board.

If you are the victim of online bullying, there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for help. I myself was bullied as a child and regret that I left it for so long before asking for help. All ops within #echillroom and #dailydose on IRC are always available for a chat if you ever need to get something off your chest or simply need a safe place to be yourself. Alternatively, you are always welcome to message me 🙂

Albania
Albania has been defending against two fronts, in territory they have conquered from Montenegro and India. The former, Montenegro has been successful in regaining a couple of territories back (while still however, having a few failed attempts) while the latter, India despite launching constant resistant wars has been unsuccessful in regaining any lost territory.

Australia
Australia is currently occupied by two foreign powers, Indonesia and Macedonia. Relative to Australia, two powerful nations in a hostile alliance. Australia is focusing its attention on regaining territory from Indonesia is locations that don’t share a land border with Macedonia. Australia’s allies in TWO are making it one of it’s main priorities to help Australia regain it’s regions. However, due to the distance the moving costs have been deterring average players from heading over.

Belarus
After recently securing a number of regions from Russia and one in Finland, Belarus has been focused on holding onto their recent acquisitions. With a relatively small population, Belarus relies heavily on the assistance of their allies and their alliance, The World is Ours (TWO). They have been able to successfully defeat resistance wars from both Russia and Finland with relative ease. There were rumours that Belarus was considering an air strike against Albania, however as food prices have sky-rocketed with the recent tournament this idea hasn't proceeded.

Hungary
While it looked possible that Ukraine and Hungary may be able to stabilise relations with a recently proposed Non Aggression pact, the Country President declined to sign after significant opposition from citizens. Hungary is now on the offensive in two fronts, towards both Ukraine and Russia. Both wars have been remarkably successful for Hungary, with them successfully conquering a number of regions from both nations.

India
While India briefly had minor success in regaining a few lost territories, they have since quickly been overrun by Croatia and lost all territory they had regained. They now stand in a similar position to how they have been for some time, with a fractured population having difficulty uniting behind a central goal.

Indonesia
Indonesia’s continuing occupation of Australia proceeds with little resistance. Despite Australia’s allies attempting to organise a coordinated attack, they were unsuccessful.

Ireland
Recently Ireland received a large influx of former UK members, disgruntled with their former nation some wish to take revenge and hoping Ireland can assist in doing that. While the Irish president didn’t believe aggression was in Irelands best interest, not all of the congress and citizens agreed and Ireland has subsequently launched a resistance war to regain lost territory.

Japan
I don’t particularly have any news to report about Japan, but I do have a message for their government. Each edition, I always receive a messages from your citizens wondering why Japan isn’t featured in the news. This is not for lack of trying and I have attempted to make contact with your citizens and government for updates but have not had any success in doing so. If you are a Japanese citizen or a government member, please consider getting in contact so I can include Japan in the Daily Dose.

Mexico
While things looked good recently for Mexico, working together with the USA they were able to successfully remove Serbia entirely from the continent. They then set their sights on Spain, able to gain a number of regions. However, they then faced quite a threat from the south with Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina declaring Mexico as a natural enemy. Venezuela was able to attack first and has successfully conquered a Mexican region. They are now trying to push further north. Mexico however, unsure if Poland will move onto attacking them after they have finished with the USA has launched a preemptive strike and declared Poland a natural enemy.

Netherlands
The Netherlands has spent a considerable amount of time without a single province, under constant occupation from Poland. Things looked promising recently, with the former President of Poland open to negotiations and willing to return a region to the Netherlands for 10,000cc. However, the Polish public didn’t agree with this idea, impeached the president and has since refused to move forward with the plan.

New Zealand
After living in relative peace for a short time, New Zealand was quickly attacked and overrun by Macedonia. Despite their allies trying to rally as much support as possible, New Zealand has been unable to dislodge Macedonia in even a single territory. This is partly due to New Zealand's location, moving costs are quite substantial and with food costs so high recently, average players have had little spare money to make such a large trip.

North Korea
North Korea remains a fractured nation, still reeling from a PTO and complete occupation by China. Activity has dropped quite substantially in an already small country. There are a few citizens however, who are determined and working tirelessly to return their country to the map.

Pakistan
Pakistan is in an envious position with no recent major wars and quite a strong defensive shield at their disposal. They are focusing their attention on maintaining this advantage, and attempting to keep the peace. To this end, they have signed a mutual protection pact with Turkey and one with Iran will soon follow.

Poland
Recently, the president of Poland was impeached by congress. While there was a few contributing factors, it is believed the main reason was the peace negotiations with Netherlands. In a nutshell, the President of Poland agreed to return a region to Netherlands in exchange for 10,000cc. Many players within Poland however, did not agree with giving Netherlands the opportunity to elect a congress and prevented them from regaining the territory.

Portugal
A training war was recently organised with Spain, however it didn’t proceed as expected. A surprise resistance war was launched in a different territory that was not officially sanctioned by the Portuguese government. While there has been no official word on why the resistance war was launched, it is believed to have been an attempt to sour relations between Spain and Portugal in addition to distracting Spain from the other open battles they had at the time.

Philippines
With their recent congress elections, the Philippines has seen a renewed level of activity lately with a number of citizens started to publish articles and push actively for a more active future for the Philippines. While they were unable to elect a congress in the last election, this new activity still seems to be in place.

Republic of China (Taiwan)
Taiwan has seen relative calm recently, easily able to hold onto their conquests in South Korea with only little help from their alliance The World is Ours (TWO). Taiwan has since focused their attention on assisting allies where they can around the world.

Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)
Despite a huge push from their enemy alliance, The World is Ours (TWO) attempting to dislodge Macedonia’s conquests in Australia and New Zealand, Macedonia has been successful in defending all their holdings. Macedonia also attempted to regain some of their home territory, conquered by Greece however this attack was unsuccessful.

Russia
After initially showing signs of being able to withstand attacks both Hungary and Belarus, Russia remained optimistic about the outcome of the numerous battles. However, the tide quickly turned against Russia and they have since lost almost all of their territory.

South Africa
With Argentina officially wiping Brazil from the map, South Africa’s main threat has been eliminated and they are now securely holding onto a number of territories with no imediate threats.

South Korea
The South Korean government recently conducted a poll of it’s citizens on whether or not to leave their alliance, Circle of Trust. South Korea voted overwhelmingly to leave. We spoke with the South Korean MoFa theirina who was able to share some light onto why South Korea left Circle of Trust. He explained to us that the Korean people felt the alliance leaders showed little support to the smaller members instead focusing their efforts mainly on the larger members. While some nations within Circle of Trust, namely Macedonia, Indonesia, Bulgaria and Japan were always quick to come to South Korea’s aid theirina advises this is mainly due to the strong relations they share. South Korea has now focusing its attention on joining The World is Ours and is hoping the United Kingdom will assist in this.

Circle of Trust (CoT) has quickly retorted, saying that the perils South Korea currently facing are due to lack of strong leadership.

Spain
Spain was recently the target of a combined attack by the USA, Mexico and France. France attacked from the North, started resistance wars, USA from the west and Canada attacking the Spanish holdings in North America.

Ukraine
While peace was almost in their grasp with Hungary, it then disappeared just as quickly with the Hungarian president declining to sign the agreement. Since then, Ukraine has attempted to regain a number of their regions but has been unsuccessful with all attempts. In addition to that, they have lost a number of additional territories to Hungary and are now defending their last territory.

United Kingdom
The United Kingdom is a diverse nation, having an active player base with quite conflicting opinions. Recently, a number of British citizens were upset with the way the country was being run and they have since relocated to Ireland, with some wanting to enact revenge upon the united Kingdom. At that time, the United Kingdom enjoyed relative peace with Ireland however things have started to change recently. The governments of both nations agreed to extend the peace, however the Irish congress didn’t agree and the Non Aggression Pact was unable to go ahead. Since then, Ireland has launched a resistance war to regain territory currently held by the United Kingdom.

USA
The Polish rampage across the USA continues unabated with the USA only currently holding a handful of regions. With a new front opened up with Spain, who attempted to make the most of the USA’s weakened state. by launching a surprise attack. At the time of writing, they haven’t been successful in taking a region, however with the USA heavily distracted, this may only be a matter of time.

Venezuela
Recently, Venezuela made a push north into Mexico and was successful in gaining a region. They are now focused on pushing further into Mexico.
