Why I resigned as MoD

So here is what happened and why I resigned as MoD.

tl;dr = Binda has Bowens balls in a jar and he is unable to stand up to her, plus he is totally incompetent.

The day before the last CP election I was to be the MoD to three candidates, one of these was
Bowen. However he allowed himself to be black mailed by Binda33 who made it very clear that if I was in Bowens cabinet she would not be. He asked me to be both MoD and MoI to which I replied very simply, no. MoD is a full time position and for the things I wanted to achieve it needed to be my one and only focus. So when Bowens cabinet was announced I was omitted, instead Binda33 was named as Mod and MoI.

The Dropbears were furious and half were ready to walk out. After months as MoD Binda had made it clear she had no understanding of military needs and the soldiers began to revolt. This put enough pressure on Binda to resign as MoD during the first week and Bowen once more offered me the position. I accepted with my only demand being that Binda is totally removed from anything in the military so that I could focus on what needed to be done without worrying about her trolling and pathetic bullshit. He assured me this would happen so I accepted the position and began the task at hand.

A few days later it became known to me that Bowen had given Binda access to the Military High Command forum as his ‘Military Advisor’ I told Bowen very clearly that she was to be removed or I would quit. Again he assured me it would happen.

Now things get interesting, former administrations had always claimed EDEN ignored them, Bowen was unable to access the EDEN battle docs, Tim Holtz our MoFa was unable to access the EDEN irc rooms. I laughed a little and decided to give it a try myself.

Within 5minutes I was inside the EDEN command rooms and had access to the gdoc’s for myself and for Bowen and Tim Holtz was added to the IRC rooms and able to access them. In those first few minutes I met the Romanian Gypsy Crista22 who organised this for me.

Deciding I had nothing left to lose I spoke to Crista about the situation in eAus. She informed me that EDEN were aware of the problems but had received no contact from eAus officials about what needed to be done. (what the hell did binda do as MoD??) Pretty sure my response to her was something along the lines of “Consider this an official request for assistance”
So the ball got rolling in EDEN, not because I did some grand magic trick. Simply because I asked.

Onto the CaV matters that were happening about the same time. I spoke with my friend SVV about the chances of running our military through the eUS, eAus had no way to supply them so it seemed logical to me to do this. Within days Dropbears were on the front lines defying the Phoenix tanks while eUS slept. We gave eCanada a 4-0 lead when they were attacked during their night, we were also heavily involved in the liberation of eIndia and turned the tide of battles every night.
Again, I did no great magic trick, I simply did the logical thing.

While the CaV and the EDEN things were going on Bowen was nowhere to be seen, he was barely a voice in EDEN and his Military Advisor continued to troll the MHC forum.

So here I was juggling things and trying to get them all to meet in the right place at the right time meanwhile I was spreading my communications network to militia’s, other nations, other MoD’s. I was planning the eIndo apocalypse and knew the only way to beat them was to destroy any chance they believed they could actually win. It was during these stages that I spoke a lot with Colin Landtrip, EDEN Military commander and eUS MoD.

Time started to draw nearer and I became concerned about the timing, it wasn’t good enough for us just to scrap in with an 11th hour victory, I wanted at least 1 full day to organise everything else. I spoke to EDEN and allies about it but without the voice of the CP who again was nowhere to be seen there was little I could do and simply resigned myself to a one day full frontal attack the likes of which this nation has never seen.

Voices started to become loud, infin and Discrate began their article trolling campaign attempting to sow the seeds of discord amongst the community. They were clearly not alone in this but I had to keep most of the details under wraps. I was the only one who knew for sure exactly what was happening and would not risk revealing too much detail. In the private MHC forums the former MoD and new ‘Military Advisor’ also trolled and once more I told Bowen to remove her or I would walk.

I knew the plans for liberation revolved around me and I would not quit while so much relied on myself, I think Bowen knew this too cause again he refused to do what was the one demand I had when accepting this job.

Then the day came.... I was up until 3am the previous night to make sure everything was in place, with 3hrs sleep I logged onto IRC again and made sure when erep time reached 15:50 (9:50 in the morning) eAus would be plunged into warfare.

We all know what happened next, we caught them napping. Colin Landtrip and the eUS warmachine unleashing a mighty can of Chuck Norris strength whoop ass we had wins across the board in all battles (the original NT battle was Sam Cougar and had nothing to do with the actual plans) By the time eIndo woke up it was 5-0 across the board. They eUS went to bed and eIndo decided to strike.... eChina arrived 6-0 7-0 for the final battle everyone was onboard. Note: EDEN was involved in all battles as were all our allies.

People will say eIndo didn’t fight but I can promise you they tried a few times but were slapped into line very quickly by countries from all over the world, by the eUS and EDEN, China, militia’s... there were so many involved I dare not try to name them all in case I miss some. Though smaller nations like Israel and India (who DB’s helped to liberate) deserve a special mention. Its one thing for a massive nation to self fund their soldiers to fight in an overseas battle, it is another thing for small nations like these two to do the same.

I was on IRC for every single battle bar one. I was in EDEN, talking to the eUS and our allies, co-ordinating, sorting out supplies etc etc... it was a busy busy day and doing three jobs for something as important as this was very draining. I was CP, I was MoFA and I was MoD... and during the 6th round I was done, gone... despite winning by so much I simply could not function. Call it drain, or whatever but I could do no more. That was when Hinokai and srg stepped up to the plate and saw us over the line. Both deserve a special mention, in our time of need they were there and saw us home where I simply could not function anymore.

But I fought, I chewed gold and tanked with the rest of the Dropbears. For the last two battles I was simply a DB I will admit that, after taking so much onboard I had simply ran out of gas. As for the CP and his military advisor.... I think Bowen was online for maybe 5minutes, I dunno I didn’t have time to waste on him with so much at stake.

So we get to last night, the RW’s are complete, I accomplished what I had set out to do. EDEN and the rest of the world know of our struggles and are there to help. So forgive me for feeling a little peachy. So into IRC I go only to see Bowen taking claim for everything, he even posted comments about it and used my Australian Defence Department paper to publish semi naked images..... and then he gives Binda 4000 access in the IRC room.

Once more he decided to slap me in the face, only difference is that now I decide not to tolerate it any longer.

I have resigned as MoD for many reasons but mainly because I set out to create a miracle, and we did it. Bowen knew the price for me to remains as MoD and chose not to pay it.

As for the calls for me to have a run at CP..... I am considering it but am in talks with a few more suitable for the job. Yes I have the contacts and know I could do the job with the same vigor as the MoD one however I never joined this game to become what I have been... I joined to be a nobody and just play to have fun....

Doesn’t help when eIndo keep pissing me off with their attacks on our nation....

Jc_ump is the new MoD, I trust he will continue where I left off and will help him if he needs it. But for myself, I will never serve in any government under Bowen or where the elitism is detrimental to the nation.
