Where are my subs?

Day 1,574, 18:06 Published in USA Poland by AThompson

First I would like to state that this is going to be a pretty similar article to vasmegye’s, but since this is a global issue and because he got less subscribers I thought I should publish my own version.

So, today when I got home and opened my subscriptions page something was weird, I got only 1000 subscriptions. I was confused, I have subscribed to more than 3600 newspapers since I registered to eRepublik, how come I only got 1000 left? I started to ask around and vasmegye answered my question immediately.

Well, our beloved most intellectual developer team gave us a little trick to shake the media module a bit.

They put your subscribed newspapers in order by newspaper ID, took the first 1000 and you only see the new articles of those 1000. 🙂

As you can see taulen’s newpaper ID is : 1985856

Here you can find the name of the newspapers from my 1000 list.

The last newpaper in my 1000 list is Muhtar Emmi’s which got the ID : 217488

All the newspapers with bigger ID number than 217488 is invisible for me if I don’t wanna browse all the local presses of the countries.

I can read the inactive newspaper of Alexis Bonte, but I can’t see one of the most active and influental writer of Hungary, Borembukkk who got 1680 subscribers simply because he created his newspaper too late.

I made a little research.

As you can see in this picture I’m not going to see 2 of the TOP 5 American writers if they are going to write a new article, besides I wouldn’t see mine either.
Great isn’t it?

Except I would like to read all the newpapers I got before, and except with this change they made impossible for the newcomer redactors to gather subs or get attention from the older folks (more than half of the game) since a large part of them already subbed on more than 1000 newspapers, so if they subscribe on a new newspaper, they won’t see the new articles of that in their subscription page.

If it would not be enough, it happened that an admin simply lied in a ticket when vasmegye asked why did they lowered his subscriptions.
