Good evening friends, allies and enemies !!
Yesterday, the Day 5000 event was introduced.
I don't really believe, that there's a single person that
was satisfied with it..
The only people that are in favor of it, are the ones
that have an interest of looking good to the Admins..
eRep Labs are using the new futures announced in the latest updates,
as a way to minimize the deployment of bot armies and reduce the cc
and gold that can be farmed.
They punished the ones that weren't paying enough Euros
and just slapped the wrist of the ones, that currently use
the same tactics that the banned accounts were using..
I see people being satisfied with the changes in the Air module.
- They say more air battles = more gold !!
- They say that it's ok that you will need fuel to deploy,
both on the ground and in the air !!
The update clearly says that you will pay gold for fuel and
that the price of fuel will increase with each buy..
Doesn't that take away gold back from the medals ?
Will not all this increase the price of gold in cc through
increased demand and less gold available to be sold ?
- They say that with more battles they will get cheap SHs !!
Today eRep Labs is selling missile packs !!
Should i go on ??
Personally i am psychologically and mentally exhausted,
trying to keep up with all the meaningless updates and changes
that the developers and management introduce every now and then,
to re-distribute "the pie", according to which bot-farming/pack buying
side they benefit from..
Countless times i had to buy cc, tokens and spend countless hours
trying to relocate my companies, costing me more than it was worth
the trouble doing it...
Numerous times eUSA and other countries, have been victims of
the management's tolerance of those bot farming/pack buying
countries, alliances and individuals..
That's what they have always done and they will keep
on doing it until you do something about it !!
No regular fighters needed anymore..
JUST MONEY SPENDERS !!
You ask for changes..

He hasn't realized that eRep doesn't care
Unless.. they are forced to care...
The only time the management has taken action against
this kind of tactics and introduced updates to re-balance things
is when they lost sales..
Most recent example ??
The Croats and Greeks along with their allies, managed to force the
management into banning Serbian and Bulgarian accounts among others..
It took some time but they succeeded to force management to take action
HOW ??
They stopped buying packs !!
You say you want changes ??
You say you want a balance ??
If you really want it, there is a way !!
HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS !!
STOP BUYING PACKS !!
This is the only thing that matters to eRep officials, owners
and their management team !!
I published an article yesterday that went to No1 INTERNATIONALLY !!
(In less than 24 hours !!)
This shows that there's a growing feeling of disappointment
and distrust towards the game..
I made my decisions.. no more packs for me !!
I understand that eRep can run their business any way they want but
YOU ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR MONEY !!
If you feel your money is well spent, under these terms, it's fine by me..
If you don't, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!
Hit them where it hurts !!

PS. There are some people that have accused me of having packs in my account and i call for a boycott..
I purchased the packs, to increase my dmg to help my country eUS, get freed from occupation by CODE.
When a pack buyer says he quits buying, such an action validates what he is saying,
proving that he is not just a random no-life hater that wants to cause havoc.. just like VaIhallen !!

Never bought anything in the time here. One does not actually buy anything physical anyway, just the right to take a shortcut.
Everything in this game is owned by erep and always will be.

eRep already crushed the motivation I had to fight when they permitted players to pay for the ability to fight in any division. Unless they change that (which they won't because they make money selling those packs), I will continue to ignore their game changes. Two-Click for me.

very nice article. Yesterday i celebrated my ebirthday with an article DAY 5001. it is true that the event is very hard and is only open to the very rich and elite in this game. goodluck

August is "International Spend No Money on eRepublik Month"!
actually you get 70 free but can buy more fuel in a week. that is 70 bh or sh so between 350 to 700 gold per tank. i did not track how many bh were anyway made but there is other points. this morning me and dragula made over a billion damage to fight for 1 bh. i was on the bh he shot over. we deployed probably 10 times this gives higher ranked tanks an advantage in battles i can lay down 400 million on full energy our legend 20 probably 1 billion so this gives the stealer the advantage to defend a bh will cost 2 or more fuel
If you have high regen you will need to deploy multiple times during a week..
There's also the fact that players can purchase energy bars, rockets, missiles, dmg multipliers, houses (bigger health bars) etc. through packs..
Plus the problem with lower div BHs that with he introduction of fuel don't pay as much..
There's more here than meets the eye and you haven't taken players' EGOs,
or destructive/disruptive tactics (ex. organised efforts in destroying a county's campaign or
mass BH/SH stealing from players of another country).
The main problem is that eRep has/is and WILL contimues to use "divide and conquer" tactics
and strategies, implemented through updates and mission (ex. "the divided we fall" mission) to
encourage players to come up with bigger amounts of dmg than necessary, in order to sell
more packs..
Not to mention the "looking the other way" tactic that was used in the Asteria case and
afterwards in th Code, of not doing anything to prevent multi-farming/bot-army alliances,
coalitions and countries, as long as it made the "opposite side" purchase more and more packs
to deal with that threat..
Markets have suffered tremendous losses in only 2 days and the main objective through this
update and event is to minimize the ability of players to create income through medal rewards
and commerce..
And all this until the next time, that they will need to favor "another side" to promote their sales..
If you are satisfied in spending you money to buy packs in this environment, it's fine with me..
I'm not going to continue doing that until the game decides to balance the game for all players..
Although this update will help save my country eUS from CODE occupation, i don't like it
because i know it will only last until their next drop in sales..
Besidesit's not about winning or losing but enjoying the game and knowing eRep's tactics
(been here since 2012) i know that all this is crap..
I prefer to live in an occupied country, while playing a game that i enjoy,
than to live in a free country in a staged game..
But that's what i think..
My reading is that fuel is only consumed for the 1st deploy in a battle round/zone - so subsequent deploys would require no fuel

Don't know how it's going to be since it's not in the game yet,
so it remains to be seen..

Like i said i understand that this update will make the use of bot armies more difficult
and probably less profitable for the ones using them but i have no more trust in eRep
anymore..
I am too bored of their sideways tactics to lure us into continuing to play and invest
real money in a game that they manipulate by favoring the occasional side that suits them..

I have been promoting Marcel's article all afternoon today because he has some good
ideas about the game.
Do i believe eRep is going to implement them ? NO
Am i going to wait until eRep starts to respect it's players
and consequently his customers ? NO
I wish people would open their eyes to see, that we must put an end to this..
Most likely, it won't happen because of players EGOs and thirst for power and
public recognition through medals..
I prefer to live in an occupied country, while playing a game that i enjoy,
than to live in a free country in a staged game..
But then again, that's just me..

That`s a funny article as all changes made fully favor Asteria & Cia, , made by the copper pot sellers for the copper pot sellers.
The Croats overdid it, that's why... and everybody else including Romania started complaining
The real issue is, do you want to play in a game where the game is balanced for all
or in a game that whoever has the biggest leverage gets things shifted in his favor ??
The game wasn't balanced for years with Asterian bots and exploits. And Croatia and allies could complain as much as they wanted, Romanian admins did nothing. Now after Croatia got the upperhand, Romania and the rest of Asteria started complaining and the admins run to please them.
That's exactly what has been and is currently happening
Are you satisfied with that ?

Do you want to spend money in a game has whoever has the biggest leverage gets things shifted in his favor ??
PS. You are forgetting prior to all this, the Polish mutli land, the FYROMian multi land, the Romanian empire multi land etc. etc,

It saddens me greatly that a few obsessed mastercarders won't be able to profit from winning hundreds or even thousands of hero medals monthly.
Also, with regards to 'redistributing the pie', the most affected countries will be those that cheated the most. Countries with real players will adapt to the new mechanic. I am curios to see how Croatia will adapt the legendary bot army to the new changes.
About 'fuel', 70 deploys seems more than enough, normally you should not get to the point where you have to buy fuel. No more waking up in the morning trying to hit for SH just to see that 80% of air battles were split between 3-4 players.

Hate? Lol, don't use such big words that you don't know the meaning of. What I stated above are facts and I haven't seen any counter arguments from your side except that big players make battles epic... and if this is the strongest argument then your whole narrative is weak af.
With regards to cheating, I've never witnessed industrial scale cheating in Romania, just a bunch of multiple accounts users who gained personal benefits, they didn't win wars and create empires with their multies. It's worth mentioning that I've been 'dead' for a few years, so I can't talk about what happened in that time frame.
Lastly, ever since I joined I keep hearing about admins favoring Romania because the company is Romanian (afaik, the parent company is not even Romanian, just the development team is Romanian), but I've never felt this in my entire e-life, can you give concrete examples? Plato doesn't have a special communication with the Romanian community. This is and always has been a wild goose chase... similar to 'white privilege' in real life US, only that here it's 'Romanian privilege'. A joke.
