When the Sand Settles

Sup

So I have a lot I want to say because they might very be my final words. I submitted a request to delete my account and already sent a confirmation. I am just awaiting the final email. So don't bother changing my mind.

Anyways,

America isn't the America I grew up with, and I feel like the rest of you newbies are getting stiffed.

Stiffed hard brahs.

I think the first thing that needs to happen is an end to Unity elections.
Not because I don't think they are protecting us from PTO (because they are) but because it simply is not right. I value my gameplay much more than some government that transitions every month. And I am convinced that even if we had free elections (non-unity elections) America would still triumph over AFA.

But that is not the point I am getting at here, because quite bluntly I do not care about AFA, I think it is much worse to live in fear of PTO than to actually be PTOed. One month reign of AFA probably wouldn't mess up the country much more than it is now, especially considering since we're playing economic warfare with our own citizens and haven't had a real direct war in ages.

Anyways enough about domestic politics, I have always loathed party politics, I always considered myself more interested in foreign relations.

So while I see America has allied itself with a lot of new countries, I have to say I have mixed feelings on it. Things I'd like to be done---Ally Canada, Argentina, Australia, France, China, South Africa.

But new faces I do like, Indonesia, South Korea, Chile, Bulgaria.

Countries I miss: Greece & Turkey.

Nations that I think would be fun to war on: United Kingdom, Sweden, Romania & Mexico.

Things I would be implemente😛 Direct Democracy, and or Warlord Democracy (1 party 1 vote type of spiel, except all partys must have at least 50 members for vote consideration). Why do I favor either of these systems over what we have now?

Well because under these systems, it is sort of playing Russian Roulette. You don't really know who the next war target will be, and especially under WD, this makes the 6th partys much more relevant and competitive, in fact all the party presidencies would be much more competitive. This would encourage partys to break into smaller partys in hopes of obtaining a plurality, and would make more leaders out of the citizenry. Just my thoughts. This is also much more transparent than whatever we have now, when I was president I implemented Direct Democracy, I made a nice google doc with everyone's vote and citizen name listed, 100% available to the public after target was selected.

Things I don't like about where our foreign policy is heading:
I know the leaders routinely say we aren't headed towards TWO, but quite frankly that really seems how it is man. I don't dislike Serbia or Hungary or anything, but really I'd feel like their lapdog if I fought all their enemies and allied all their allies. And Eden isn't cool or anything, cause I think Romania is pretty lame, but don't give up America's sovereignty over some hatred for it.

What made America great was not that we were in the strongest alliance, not because we had a lot of gold or anything, it was because we always fought for the underdogs, we liked playing liberators, that was the foundation motto for *Special Forces*. I think we lost a lot of our talent because we settled for a monotonous gameplay. I sure as hell don't care if we conquer all the world or get wiped, I play for the story line, because we used to set goals, because we had purpose, and because we believed we could defy odds.

And we did.

And you could do so again.

Don't play in fear, play for enjoyment, play for shits and giggles.

And lastly,

Burn all non-believers.
