Hi there!
Good news on the political front:
it seems that Plato is experimenting with more detailed reports for the countrys daily tax revenue.
Why do I say it concerns politics when the upgrade is clearly economy related?
I hope that this increase in transparency will empower both citizens and governors to better understand, form opinions and build stronger arguments for tax policies.
This will increase the power of citizens and, by offering them a more informed voice, will augment the quality of public debate. I count on it!

What does the "Other" tax constitute?

But I'd add this: day 3367 is the one when the upgrade was first implemented. That means that only starting from today the statistics reflect the real share of that "Other" category. Looks pretty small, quite unimportant.

what difference does tax money make? currency is near worthless, especially if one is only doing air battles.
if you were really interested in providing a clear vision on how our government operates, please post where the 1 million cc chickensguys used to get his shiny new medal came from. Maybe those that pay cc for packs are more guilty than they want to admit (to themselves)... or buy packs to fund those after the fun of overthrowing the eUS :/
A good question.
Not all that buy packs and basically play the game as a war game, ignoring other modules within the game seek to overthrow the eUS, for the lulz like CG did. Most look on eUS as a stable place to operate production toward the end of fighting enemies elsewhere. This group is clearly not interested in overthrowing the eUS gov. In fact many or most of these players could be relied on to defend the tranquil production found on these shores.
In many ways bomb throwing politicians (and I consider CG more a pol than a fighter and definitely a bomb thrower) are more dangerous to our style of play than most foreign groups.
Tax money doesn't matter as long as it is not being used as a tool to extract every last rubble from ya. We seem to be doing very well actually as a low tax state.
sorry if I get off point, it is more than the Admins who dumb this game down... and I am very guilty of over layering my trite observations.
But one point that should be addressed, where did chick get the 1 million cc. I am offering the suggestion that those that pay cc for packs unknowingly may have funded his new shiny medal. Buyer beware indeed.
So what if he got the money that way! 6 sales of €15 packs gets you close enough. You think he only sold to eUS citizens, or that pack sellers only use the money for good and noble causes???
Other options include black market transactions and the fact he's actually quite an old player with a lot of accumulated assets.
I hope you are right about increased transparency leading to a easier understanding of taxation and thru that lead to a more unified nation. I do though fear that the divisions of how various folks consider and play this game are just so different in approach to come to some understanding about taxes and of course always, the twin discussion about public expenditure.
This is WONDERFUL news, 3-4 years too late.
