Torches and Pitchforks.

Since I returned to erepublik after a substantial leave, I have been sitting on the sideline in order to understand the current political climate of eAustralia before I attempt to re-enter the bureaucratic bloodbath that is the government.
I understand that when a group of people with different personalities and ideologies attempt to co-operate, conflicts can arise. Controversy, as many of us are aware, is not exactly new to our parliament and community. However, I am grievously disappointed in how some people have acted as of late with how they enforce their agendas.
Publicly shaming people is something that should be avoided. I implore the people of eAustralia to confine government and forum issues to their sections of the forum or IRC. It is harmful to the eAustralian media and discourages new players from contributing. I will not stand idly by while mob mentalities cause an eCivil War as factions arise from such trivial issues.

What about those of us who presently avoid the forum like a plague? Should we not be allowed to voice our reason for leaving?
If it was only one or two people I would be inclined to agree but the number is building. There aren't that many active members of the forum. The issue needs to be addressed and fixed.
If a certain person was concerned about the eAus community this wouldn't be an issue since anyone with half a brain would have simply resigned.

Good to see you around.
wb NSG.
I wouldn't play this game without forums and irc - makes it easier and more enjoyable (only just makes it to a net plus). Sure there are plenty of trolls and conflict, but once you learn to deal with this, its all good.
Come and get involved. Whingers will always whinge. The rest just get on with it.
