10.French baby boom

Everyone was shocked who saw that massive baby boom on the French side some time ago. It was erepublik's biggest baby boom, and many of us thought that the world will change, that France will be the next superpower. At one time they had over 25.000 citizens, today there are 8000 French citizens only. However the French baby boom fail is only on the 10th place as still, there are more citizens in France today than before the boom, and on the other hand it was not just a fail of France, but also one of the developers, who did not have a French version of the game, thus many newcomers found it uninteresting.

9.Hungarian PTO attempt in Canada

Well, there were other failed PTO attempts too, so this should not be a big deal. What makes this PTO to be an epic fail, is that in the meantime Croatians after being PTO'ed one month earlier by Serbians, deciding they would do the same thing for Italy. Hungary, who at that time was the biggest PTO power in the world, did not send voters to Italy, who indeed was successfully PTO'ed, but sent voters to Canada in a failed attempt to gain control over Canada. The other interesting thing is that few days after the elections, Canada was wiped out of the map, so this attempt was useless anyway.

8.Germany electing shoot as president

One of the most epic presidential election was held in June 2009 in Germany. The two presidential candidates were shoot and Gobba. The germans elected shoot as their president, just to find out that he was a Swedish spy.

7.Indonesian campaign in the USA

While it was not an epic fail from the start, the last days of the US – Indonesian war was a fail on the Indonesian part. First there was the peace treaty signed, in which Indonesia did not close the direct war, but the one between Portugal and USA. Later they spent over 8000 gold in defending California, while in the meantime, Ontario and Asturias were liberated, while Northwest Croatia was secured. Just a few days later after they defended California with the price of a lot of gold, their president wizzie_don was permanently banned, and USA attacked Indonesia again in California, and won the battle without any problem.

6.Sebahmah's password

While president, Sebahmah's account was hacked, resulting in Romania opening a battle against Hungary (and 12 other MPP's), and in the robbing of some organisations of national importance for Romania. However, the funny thing is that it is said that Sebahmah's password was hacked manually, as it was 123456.

5.Columbian war in the USA.

Columbia thought that it would be a great idea to help their Russian allies and attack the USA. So with Russian financial backing, and Mexican help, they reached the shores of the USA, and started opening up battles in order to block the USA from attacking. But this blocking did not last for too long, and they were wiped out from the North American continent soon enough.

4. Polish and German money transfer

Poland gained control over the German congress, and they tried to devalue their national currency, by buying a lot of DEM and transferring them to their accounts. They even exchanged 3274 Gold for 654800 DEM. Unfortunately for the Poles, the maximum amount to be donated is 100.000, and there can be only 1 donation law proposed a day. So the Germans could sabotage the attempt to transfer the money until the Hungarians conquered Germany, and the money landed in the Hungarian treasury.

3. Iranian attack on Canada

So, Iran thought that they need their share of fights in the North American continent, and they opened a war with Canada (a costly war, I should mention that). But they failed to attack any region, so Canada attacked them and gained back their territories. This is one of the biggest tactical fails, as if Iran had initiative, then most possibly, USA would still be trying to gain back their territories from Russia.

2.Spanish gold

Possibly the most well known epic fail in erepublik history. Spain, who at that time was the richest EDEN/FORTIS country transferred all their gold from their National Bank to a company, Cepak Wood . The problem was that no one from the Spanish government saw that the company was for sale for a mere 35 gold. Hungarian representatives bought the company, that possessed over 16000 gold and ESP valued at over 2500 gold.

1.Pressing the collect button by Feherlofia

So Hungary secured 16000 gold from the enemy through a simple yet brilliant move. But how did they spend it? Well, in the first minutes after buying Cepak Wood, Feherlofia Koppany, wanted to transfer out 14000 gold, but he did not use the monetary market, instead he pressed the collect button. General managers know what I am talking about here, some citizens might not.
By pressing the collect button, he was very uninspired, as France (where the company was located) had the biggest income tax on erepublik – 50%. Thus, out of that 14.000 gold, 7000 gold went into France's treasury with a simple click.
