The yearly Competition.

Day 3,136, 22:39 Published in Estonia Estonia by Ripperi

So the midsummer days festivities are coming once again.

Finnish women perform midsummer spells (yes, rly, i know at least 1% does it instead of drinking Suomi-viina)

If you visit Finland someday, you should check out the meadows on midsummers day, if you want to see some mongolian skin.

Usually this time of the year creates in a mostly rural Finland a havoc on roads. Five million Finns feel the call
of the forests, lakes, nature and want to be part of it.

Looks good doesnt it?

Once in a year people rush to their cottages like it was Mad Max-movie for hours to get to their cottage.

Trust me, ive done the same for years, this year i will be staying home, since our older dog is too old to travel for hours.

This dog actually told Finns to elect Pedersprii as a President of Finland, and it worked.

So anyway, enough of creating romantic visage of Finnish way to celebrate midsummer.

In reality it is this.

Looks like average Finn in Tallin streets right?

Finns get drunk, eat lenkkimakkara, maybe fight cottage neighbour, go to sauna, swim, go rowing get drunk a bit more, needs to pee, stand on the boat, boat flips, no life vest (unlike Dodo had) and eventually, few unlucky get too much liquid they can handle.

Yes, Finns doing what they do best.

The competition im talking about, is a sport in Finland, at workplaces, or between a group of friends Finns guess how many drown on the
midsummer festival weekend.

Normal rules, comment your guess, and i will pick the winner on 28.6.

The closest or exact guess will get no more or no less 10,000 EEK.

Bonus prizes will be given out also. Give me an idea about good competition/entertainment article or something along that line, i will give something for a good idea.

So now. Get guessing, even if it is not at all funny competition.
