The War For Congress Starts With Your Vote

Day 3,746, 02:36 Published in USA USA by Dariuswolff
The War For Congress has just been born. It is a war of justice over the power of an accretion of power which has been half a decade in the making. It is a war which is making many citizens of the eUSA reluctant revolutionaries.

Slip. slipping away. . .
It is always interesting to watch the reaction of the establishment as power is slipping from their hands. Generally, the first reaction they have is to try, best as they can, to retain power by implementing laws and rules which they think will restrict their enemies. Little do they know that the more restrictive their actions, the more exposed they become. Walking Naked before the voters in their ambitions and lust for pure power.

It is at this point that as my media advisors say, I should make a call to action. I am always forgetting to do this, but not this time. Please, if you identify with anything I have written here, join our party, the Constitutional Reform Party. Here is our link. https://www.erepublik.com/en/party/constitutional-reform-party-5460/1 We are nothing without you. Join now.

Voting is a citizen's right, but often, when given disincentives to vote, apathy sets in. The usual suspects of politicians will gloat when you fail to vote, they know they have mobilized a block of voters on their behalf, and if you fail to vote, their power at the polls is enhanced. Or, to express it another way, politicians hate to have their blocks diluted because it leads to defeat.

One party alone has almost no chance of changing anything, but a coalition can achieve wonders. BUT first, you must vote. In fact, if you do not currently belong to a political party, please join up with one. Numbers make a difference. 424 people voted in the last congressional election and the president was elected with a total of 445 votes cast. 332 people were registered with the main parties in that election. So, there were fewer than 90 voters who were either unregistered, or belonged to such minor parties that they made no statistical differences. There was also likely voting across party lines. There are supposed to be, according to the census, 1,733 active citizens in the eUSA. That seems to leave nearly 1300 nonvoting citizens. We can do better.
