Dear Beleguered Manatees,

Don’t give up, you can swim. I know this may seem like an insurmountable task with your fat body and very small and largely useless fins. But if you do the worm and push your little fins you can swim. I know you can little big man. It is very possible and I believe in you. In fact, the average Manatee speed is 5 miles per hour, which means a Manatee that swims for 24 hours could go a whooping 120 MILES. Which brings me to the point of this article, Manatees need cars. Never again will the Manatee struggle with the ungodly task of swimming with a great white shark in hot pursuit.
