Hi kids!
So I was out walkin' around looking at stuff, checkin' the place out, when I see this real fancy bar. So I goes inside for a drink but the place was empty. Never could find anyone to take my order.

One of the fancier joints I've ever been in.

I'm thinkin' I could hang out here but we'll have to put in some pool tables and build a runway for the girls to dance on or this place will never fly.

I'm enjoying Canada much more than what the brochures led me to believe. A political system that functions. People who organize the place. Just the right amount of hecklers to keep it from getting boring. Throw in the French citizenry (Bonne journée à vous.) and *poof*, a fun sandbox to play in.

I would ask that you allow me the privilege to serve in congress this coming month. I'm new to the MDP, heck I'm new to everything here. One thing's for certain, I'm not new to a room full of opinionated people who talk loud.

This pickle guy would be a good addition to your government. He was one of the,good Congress critters when he was back here in the eUS, so long ago. And trust me there were not too many good ones.

Yes, as far as that, what is left of the mod. I still don't like the fact that your chances of winning congress depends on the PP. Free elections where you vote for me or not. Used to be a lot more fun.

I wonder if it would better help things if a PP would have to approve new members, but (still) not be able to kick people out.

They should approve of new members. It does not take a game mechanic to make a list available on the forum (or elsewhere) stating who is responsible, active and trustworthy. If trouble makers want to push your party into the top 5 then great. As long as they don't have a voice in the party.

I'm not saying to make any party a closed club but in days of yore new people had to prove themselves worthy to have party support. I worked my way up from the Comm Team (sending out mass PM's) to Party President of UIP. I showed that I could think and lead people. These are traits lacking today IMO. Now you just need some buddies. (Not necessarily talking aboot Canada. Residual memories from the US.)
