כשאני בא לכתוב את המאמר הזה אני מתקשה לנסח את המילים למשפטים. הרבה מילים עולות לראש - משימה, מטרה, מחוייבות, מסירות, תקווה, רצון. הסיבה שהן לא מתחברות יחד בצורה של משפטים קוהרנטיים מייד היא שאי אפשר באמת להעביר את הרעיונות האלו בדרך שיהיה אפשר לראות אותם. עבור אדם אחד משימה היא מטלה שצריך לבצע מהר ככל האפשר, לאחרים משימה מוגדרת כמוצלחת רק אם היא נעשית כמו שצריך. בשביל אנשים מסויימים אפשר להזניח מחוייבויות בקלות אם הנסיבות מתאימות למצב, בשביל אחרים אין דרך לעקוף התחייבות. אפשר לעזור למישהו עם או בלי הרצון ולקבל תוצאה דומה, אבל הדרך למטרה הזו תיראה שונה. בגלל ההבדלים שאנשים מעניקים למילים קשה להגדיר כוונות מלכתחילה ולתאר במדוייק גם את הנתיב. אם אני אומר שאני אעבור מבחן אני לא אומר כמה זמן ייקח לי ואם אני לא ארמה או אם אני אקבל ציון מצויין או פשוט לא אכשל.

לכן אני לא יכול להסביר שאני מרגיש את החוייבות למלא את משימת המדינה הזו עם מסירות אשר מזין אותה הרצון להחזיר לאנשים את התקווה במדינה.

אני מודאג, חבריי למדינה. אני מודאג כשאני רואה מילים גדולות וריקות, אני מודאג כשהדברים לא נלקחים ברצינות וזה מעצבן אותי כאשר לאנשים יש חשיבות עצמית גדולה מדי ומעט מדי צניעות.

זה מוזר לראות אנשים מבטיחים "בייבי בומים" ו"הצלחה" ו"שינוי". מילים גדולות וריקות שמפחידות אותי יותר מאשר מביאות נחת למוחי וקונות את השקט שלי. הדבר היחידי שאני מצפה אליו מנשיא המדינה הוא פשוט - להיות מוכן. זה אומר להיות מסוגל להגיב למצבים, לעשות החלטות קשות ולהיות אחראי לשמירה על טובת המדינה לפני טובתך האישית.

הגישה שלי לעניין ההנהגה היא שונה. מנהיג בעיניי צריך תמיד להיות פתוח לרעיונות חדשים. זו בקשה קשה לבקש מאדם שהוא לא בוגר מספיק להבין את החשיבות של דעות ללא דעה קדומה.

אז הנה מה שיש לי להציע: את עצמי. קחו אם תרצו. אני אהיה שם, מקשיב לרצונות הונכחיים והצרכים העכשוויים. אני אתקן את עצמי בשעת הצורך, אדע מתי להדגיש את המצב שלנו לעדן ומתי לבקש את הסבלנות של חבריי למדינה בשעת הצורך. זכרו - לא מדובר רק בנו, אנחנו משחקים משחק חברתי עם מדינות נוספות והמון משתנים.

Hello everyone,

Coming to write this article I'm finding it difficult to put the words together. Many pop up right away - Mission, purpose, obligation, dedication, hope, desire. The reason they don't compose together in the form of coherent sentences right away is that you can't really convey these notions in the way that you see them. For one person a mission is a task that needs to be done as fast as possible, to others no mission is declared accomplished if it's not done properly. To some, obligations can be neglected easily if the circumstances fit the situation, to others there's no going around commitment. You can provide assistance to someone else with or without desire and get the same result, but the path to that goal will look different. Because of the small differences people assign to words it's hard to state intentions beforehand and accurately describing the path as well. By saying I'm going to pass a test I'm not saying how long will it take or if I won't cheat or even if I ace it or just not fail it.

This is why I can't explain that I feel the obligation to fullfill this country's mission with dedication that is nourished by the desire to give people their hope back in this country.

I'm worried, my fellow countrymen. I'm worried when I see big and empty words. I'm concerned when things aren't taken seriously. It bugs me when people have too much self importance and too little humility.

It's funny to see people promise "baby booms" and "success" and "change". Big and empty words which scare more more than reassure my mind and buy my silence. The only thing I expect from a Country President is simple - To be prepared. This means being able to respond to situations, to make difficult decisions and to have the responsibility of keeping the country's best interests before your own.

Can you make sure you're prepared if all you have to offer is big slogans? Unlikely. Why shout "No more!" or "We can change everything" or even "Together we're invincible" if it's not necessarily true? I'll never promise things I cannot accomplish, not baby booms nor conquests that I don't know if I can achieve.

My approach to the matter of leadership is different. A leader in my eyes should always be available and open to new ideas. It's a difficult request to ask from someone who is not mature enough to understand the importance of unbiassed opinions.

So here's what I have to offer: Myself. Take it or leave it, I'll be there, listening to the current wants and needs. I'll adjust when I need to, I'll know when to stress out our situation to Eden and when to request patience from my people in times it's needed. Remember - This is not just about us, we're playing a social game with other countries and many variables.

Maybe some people think they CAN be Country Presidents when in fact they just WANT to be Country Presidents.

I promise to shed more light about my plans for January, including a partial list of ministers and more thoughts I have. This is an introductory article meant to only state my intentions. So yeah, have no doubt in your heart -

You're not mistaken - I am running for presidency.

Don't vote for me because I was once a minister and my opponent has less experience.
Don't vote for me because of my older RL age.
Don't vote for me because I'm not a demagogue who gives you fantasy hopes

Vote for me because it's the LOGICAL thing to do.
