We are all angryfied and appalled by the Russian state's brutal attack on Ukraine!

Why do I say "Russian state" and not "Russians"? Because I do not believe the common Russian wants this war. The common Russian look at Ukraine as a brother nation not an enemy. The powerful Russian state (read - Vladimir des Putin), on the other hand, wants war on Ukraine in order to rectify its own inferiority complex towards a state smaller than itself. What glory could not have been gained for the Russian state, if it instead built a open community, friendship and culture with the outside world?


Norway experienced its 24 February over 80 years ago, on 9th April 1940. When I was a child, I listened with a mixture of fear and interest to my grandfather's and father's experiences of the German attack on Norway on 9th April. As a 13-year-old boy, my father had to take care of killed soldiers. This marked him for the rest of his life. What do many children have to experience around Ukraine these days? Either in the form of torn down cities, or in refugee flows to the west, after saying goodbye to their fathers they might not meet again? This will affect them for the rest of THEIR lives! And what will THEIR childrens and grandchildrens be told?


Also here in the eRepublik we have friends and players who are directly or indirectly affected by the war in Ukraine. What can we do for them in this society?

Support them!

Post a Ukrainian flag in the feed every day and press the "like" button when others do the same! In the opposite way: Click "dislike" on the posts and feeds that support the actions of the Russian president. Let it be huge numbers of "likes" and hopefully huge numbers of "dislikes" to be notified, by Des Putinian supporters. Note: "dislike" the actions of the Russian president, NOT the ordinary Russians!! Because I do not think they want war either, they want friendship and fellowship both in RL Ukraine and in eRepublik!
