SH madness / SH ludilo ˙(ENG/SRB)

Greetings eRepublik community,

we can all witness last couple of days the madness that is happening in air battles. This happens every time the admins decide to give promotions of stingers.

Why is this happening?

- This happens mostly due to recklessness and inexperience of younger players or those with lower air rank and sometimes also because of rudeness of some players.

Firstly, I would like to present a very simple calculation:

Each of the offered packages we can purchase maximum three times. So, to buy all the packages three times, we need to pay 2790 gold. On this occasion I will not count the golds which can be returned using bombs for Battle Hero medals. I will ignore them and return to stingers. So, in order to return our 2790 golds from Sky Hero medals we MUST spend ONLY 30 stingers per SH medal. Each stinger spent over is unprofitable. This is simple mathematics. Also, I must note that this calculation is from time when the stingers had a expiration time of 30 days. Now they are expiring after 15 days and we are forced to use more than 30 stingers for one SH medal. This applies in the case that we have purchased the maximum number of packages. The conclusion is that we will be in small deficit this time, which we can annul with taking Battle Hero and True Patriot medals if using bombs.

What are our goals when we buy packages?

- To return invested golds and to win SH medal as “cheap” as we can. So, our goal is to take SH medal with as little damage, stingers and energy as possible. I hope we should not even mention energy bars.

However, many players do exactly the opposite for reasons known only to them and that is why this situation in air battles is happening. I don’t want to go into their style of playing. Everyone uses their own tactics, but it is really not understandable the logics used by good part of the players to start hunting SH medal at the middle of battle when the medal is “worth” 200k - 250k. In situations like this it is quite expectable that the player who holds SH medal will try to defend it. At the end of battle the result is that value of this medal would probably be over 500k – 600k damage. This means that you throw golds, stingers and energy bars.

I don’t want to make myself smart but allow me to give you one kindly advise.
Before you start hunting SH medal, restore your entire energy with food or energy bars. Try to hunt SH medal in air battles of your country, especially if your country has NE (natural enemy) bonus which gives you 10% stronger hit. A good majority of foreigners respects domestic players and stops hitting if the home player first started hitting
(of course do not abuse this). If your country doesn’t have air round when it suits you then carefully choose the battle to hit. Choose some less important or already solved campaign as well as a side that you think will be needed less hitting and damage for SH medal. In doing so, do the best to honour your allies.

When you pick a battle, start hitting from the first seconds of the battle and respect players from the country for which you are hitting. Start hunting SH medal with stingers but don't push it to far. Shoot until SH medal is shown. If you hold SH medal in that moment continue hitting and deal the amount of damage you consider is enough for the medal. If you do not hold SH medal from the beggining be fair, stop hitting and try luck in some other campaign.

It is not smart to start „racing“ with someone and spend much resources for 30 gold that you can take somewhere else for minor damage and without overspending of resources. In case you are holding SH medal and someone start hitting to take it from you it is up to you to decide weather you will you defend it. It depends on the available resources, free time and your current mood. Players with a weaker aircraft rank should not be afraid to play this way. Firstly, because this method of playing is fair and is used by at least 95% of strong aviators. This means that they will most likely start hitting. Of course, there are always exceptions, but luckily not many. The extra reason for playing using this method is that you will start taking SH medals with less damage. Even in case you are defending your medal you will spend much more resources than if you try to take someone’s medal worth 200-250k.

I’m going to support this with examples:

Example 1: You started from the first second and you made 200 thousand (200k) damage. most probably nobody will start chasing your medal and you will take the medal with 200k. If somehow somebody start hunting your medal by defending it you will deal 250k damage or something more.

Example 2: You are starting to hit for SH medal that already somebody holds with 200k damage. That means that in the beginning you have to deal at least 250k damage, so you can be “safe”. This is already 50k more than in example 1. Now, if player who hold this medal starts defending it the amount of wasted damage will increase. What is the final amount of damage you will have to deal at the end of the round nobody knows. You can only guess, and it is the question if you will take this medal or not.
One more thing. I would not recommend you turning on accelerators (x2 or x5) if someone started hitting before you with accelerators. Not even in case you are late at the beginning of the battle. This move would only result with the rage of other players.

If all players would play like this I am sure that there would not have been such madness
in air battles.

zadnjih dana svi smo svjedoci ludila koje se dešava u vazdušnim bitkama. I to nije slučaj samo sada, već svaki put kada Admini daju promociju stingera.

Zbog čega se ovo dešava?

Većim dijelom zbog nepromišljenosti i neiskustva mladjih igrača ili onih sa slabim avio rankom i manjim dijelom zbog bezobrazluka pojedinica.

Prvo želim da Vam predočim jednu vrlo prostu računicu:
Svaki od ponudjenih paketa možemo da kupimo maksimalno tri puta. Dakle, da bi kupili sve pakete po tri puta potrebno je da izdvojimo 2.790 golda. Ovom prilikom neću računati golde koji se mogu vratiti od BH medalja uzetih bombama, njih ću zanemariti i osvrnuću se samo na stingere. Dakle, da bi vratili 2.790 golda od SH medalja, na jednu SH medalju MORAMO da potrošimo SAMO po 30 stingera za jednu SH medalju. Sve preko toga je neisplativo. Ovo je prostamatematika. Naravno, moram još da napomenem da je ovo računica iz vremena kada su stingeri imali rok trajanja 30 dana. Ovom prilikom traju samo 15 dana i da bi stigli da ih sve ispucamo, primorani smo da na jednu SH medalju trošimo i više od 30 stingera. Ovo se odnosi za slučaj da smo kupili maksimalan broj paketa. Zaključak je da ćemo ovaj put biti u malom minusu, koji, ipak, možemo da ispeglamo zaradom od golda i valute uzetih od BH i TP medalja osvojenih sa bombama.

Koji su nam ciljevi kada kupimo pakete?

- Da vratimo uložene golde i da osvojimo što "jeftiniju" SH medalju.

Znači, cilj nam je uzeti SH sa što manje napravljene štete, potrošenih stingera i energije. Čokoladice i da ne pominjem.

Medjutim, veliki broj igrača radi upravo suprotno iz samo njima znanih razloga i baš zbog toga se i dešava sve ovo što se dešava u aero bitkama. Neću da zalazim u njihov stil igre, svako igra onako kako misli da je najbolje ali stvarno ne mogu da kažem da razumijem logiku kojom se vodi dobar dio igrača i kreće na SH medalju na pola bitke ili kasnije kada SH medalja već "vrijedi" 200 - 250 hiljada. U takvoj situaciji, sasvim je realno za očekivati da će igrač braniti SH medalju koju trenutno drži i da će njena "vrijednost" na kraju premašiti 500-600 hiljada štete, što znači uzaludno bačene golde, stingere i čokoladice.

Ne želim da se pravim pametan i da Vam solim pamet ali dopustite mi da Vam dam jedan dobronamjeran savjet.

Prije nego krenete da lovite SH medalju, obnovite kompletnu energiju hranom ili čokoladicama. Gledajte da SH medalju jurite u vazdušnim bitkama svoje Države, posebno ako Vaša zemlja ima NE (prirodni neprijatelj) bonus koji daje 10% jači udarac. Dobra većina stranaca poštuje domaće igrače i staje sa udaranjem ako je domaći igrač prvi počeo da udara (Naravno, ovo nemojte da zloupotrebljavate). Ako Vaša Država nema aero
rundu kada Vam odgovara da udarate za SH, onda pažljivo odaberite bitku. Izaberite neku manje važnu ili već riješenu kampanju kao i stranu za koju mislite da će se manje udarati i na kojoj će biti potrebno manje štete za SH medalju. Pri tome se potrudite i da ispoštujete saveznike.

Kada izaberete bitku, počnite da udarate u prvim sekundama bitke i poštujte igrače iz Države za koju pucate. Lov na SH medalju počnite sa stingerima ali nemojte da se inatite. Udarajte dok se ne očita SH medalja. Ako je u tom trenutku držite Vi, nastavite da udarate i napravite onoliko štete koliko smatrate da je dovoljno za SH, a ako ne, igrajte fer i stanite sa udaranjem i oprobajte sreću u nekoj drugoj kampanji. Glupo je da se sa nekim jurite i potrošite toliko resursa zbog 30 golda koje možete da uzmete negdje drugo za manju štetu i bez pretjeranog trošenja. U slučaju da držite SH medalju a neko krene da Vam je skida, sami odlučite da li ćete je braniti u zavisnosti od raspoloživih resursa, slobodnog vremena i trenutnog raspoloženja.

Igrači sa slabijim aero rankom ne trebaju da imaju strah da igraju na ovaj način, prije svega zbog toga što je to fer igra kakvu praktikuje i poštuje bar 95% jakih pilota, što znači da će Vam stati i ispoštovati Vas. Naravno, uvijek ima izuzetaka ali srećom u veoma malom broju. Razlog više da igrate ovako je i taj što ćete SH medalju vjerovatno uzeti sa manje napravljene štete. Čak i da je branite, ne možete potrošiti više od onoga koliko ćete potrošiti ako krenete na nečiju SH medalju od 200-250 hiljada.

Evo da to podkrijepim i primjerima:

Primjer 1: Krenuli ste od prve sekunde i nanijeli 200 hiljada štete. Velika je mogućnost da Vas niko neće juriti i da ćete uzeti medalju sa tih 200 hiljada. Ako neko i krene na Vašu SH, braneći je napravit ćete 250 hiljada štete ili nešto malo više.

Primjer 2: Krećete na SH koju već neko drži sa 200 hiljada štete. Znači Vi u startu morate da udarite barem 250 hiljada da bi ste bili "sigurni", što je već više za 50 hiljada u odnosu na primjer 1. Još ako igrač koji drži SH medalju odluči da je brani, potrebna šteta će samo da raste kao i bespotrebno potrošeni resursi. Koliko ćete na kraju morati da udarite za SH, možete samo da nagadjate a ne možete biti sigurni da ćete je uzeti.

Takodje, ne bih Vam savjetovao da palite ubrzivače (x2 i x5) ako je neko već prije Vas počeo sa njim da udara, kao ni u slučaju da kasnite na početak bitke, jer ćete time samo izatvati bijes drugog igrača.

Ako bi svi igrali ovako, siguran sam da se ne bi pravilo ovoliko ludilo u vazdušnim bitkama.
