Join the new world

Well my first term as pp has just started its last week and Looking back there's not much else that I could've hoped to be better. I fully expected to take a heavy load upon my shoulders the day I was elected. I was prepared to waste a month of my life away working to make sure my term could be a considered a success and make the party better for it.

Luckily I was wrong, I wasn't the only one willing to try and make the Feds better. I had a whole community of people ready to stand for the party.
This is exciting for me because most of my non admin staff was ran by fairly new people and they're the ones that did most of the work. This means that the Feds still have new people willing lead. We have never been a party that has been focused on retaining the old guard. We have however been a party that values our community and gives anyone willing a chance to make a difference.

In this way I think we've succeeded, there was number of people that I asked to step up and they all did, far better than I expected them too.



Specifically, I am talking about my directors of Retention and the Director of Media and his deputy. Their three names would be Shuji Ariwa/Psybertron, Wasp15, and ike3494. Without these three people I do not believe that my success could be achieved.

Shuji came into the DoRR almost perfectly, he made the department function and made our party the only party to grow in any kind of noticeable way the entire month. He helped raise the various newbs that arrived and educated them when they needed it. In fact, I believe he’s almost perfect here in the party, despite his vacation in eJapan he still remained a leader in the party this month and even then his vacation to eJapan told me something about him. He wants to help build a community and help that community achieve the most that they can out of eRepublilk and that belief is something that I believe is what all Federalists strive to achieve. So I hope he can keep the interest he’s had with erepublik so far, the Feds and the eUS will be better for it if he does.

Next is my Media staff. Both Wasp and Ike I believe didn’t have jobs before I threw the media on them. Even then they still kept our media alive every week and every election. I believe they both have a good career ahead them if they can keep their interest in eRepublik as well. They are both new and talented writers that I’d like to see the Feds keep around for as long as their willing.



Next come my admin staff. That has only consisted of three people this whole term. My original admin staff was Fingerguns for vp and tyler bubblar for CoS. Tyler sadly had real life issues did not have the time do much in that position. So after a while I asked Melissa Rose to step in for about 1/3rd of the term and she’s doing that as well as I can ask her too. I originally envisioned my CoS to be someone whose done things before and could bring their experience to the rest of my staff should they need it. Luckily they did not need much guidance as they took to their departments perfectly but the position was not completely wasted. When Mel stood in for Tyler she took over Fedex duties and is currently working to make sure everything works and happens on time in the party.

Now I need to talk about the only person that's left, my mother, my father, and my best friend Fingerguns. I asked her to take the position of Vice Party President in my cab and she didn't do too well, in fact she didn't really do anything in that position except yell at me.
However, it wasn't her title of Vp that allowed her to shine this month. It was her elected position as Viceroy of the Feds that allowed her to try and steal the spotlight from me and the other staff. With the wheel she able to get the party to easily transfer from the old days of IRC to the new days of discord with ease. She was also able to inspire even the oldest and faggiest of the party to climb out of their holes and write something. The wheel caught on like wildfire with the party and even a little bit in the eUS in general.
In truth I adore fingerguns and I believe there's nothing in erepublik that can stop her from turning it fabulous so this really shouldn't be a surprise.



Finally, I believe I should address the election to come since it is that time of the month. I do plan on running again and I have already accepted my nominations on the forums. I want to lead another month, not so much because I believe I have something to prove but because I would like to continue the work I’ve done for the party and amplify it. I also believe that I need to focus on bringing in a new group of leadership to the Feds, no one should be PP forever.
