Well I can honestly say I can see how people become corrupt with access to thousands of gold in this game. Just looking at my account of 1020 gold is staggering.
I've made arrangements with our CP to have the gold transferred to a secure location. He's been slow on this one as I've not heard back yet. I know if I was CP and I had a quick 1000 gold to have returned to the country I would sure get on it asap.
But he has his own priorities to contend with *CP elections* "Cough" *No MDP positive Media* "Cough".
So the gold sits for now in the darkness tempting me.
Now we move onto my dealings with Octavian_F

I think Octo was just a front for Mayhem and a pawn of the overlord Rolo and his minion Wes. 1000g risked for a presidential run to rob the nation yet again to embarress eCanada. Bribing himself onto the ballot with MDP endorsement \and hoping for the best in a very fragile political situation in canada.
One pile of gold to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
Even if Octavians plan was legit it was a long shot at best and relied heavily upon a CP victory which in itself sounds fishy. He shoudl ahve did this operation without a CP bid being involved. So I made a decision and I stand by it.

Myself and the rest of the MDP are happy to return this gold back to Canada as a sign of good faith and our dedication to the rebuilding of the nation. I'd like to thank my advisors in the MDP military council for there opinions and overall defence of morals.
Now I'd like to be rid of this gold as soon as possible before it tempts me. 1000 gold buys alot of training and retirement in some 3rd world nation has its pluses.
Someone get on Aeriala to have me donate this1000 gold somewhere govt secure or I will hold onto it till we have a new President elected and have him make the big decisions if our current leadership cannot.

I was not using it for my campaign. I trusted you to hold it because I assumed you was on eCanada's side along with me. I told you I was getting another 1k and I assumed you were intelligent enough to be patient for me to get it.

I'd take 1000 gold no strings attached over 2500 gold and two criminal pardons. As much as I get along with Octavian, it's not his gold to be upset about. When you hold the assets of criminals, you don't get to cry foul when somebody takes it. I remember a few weeks ago, Octavian maintained that he was investing the stolen gold because he doesn't discriminate when he can make a profit. When you choose to work for a mob boss you can claim no moral high ground if you get shot by a vigilante.
